During Nintendo’s E3 Presentation the President of the North American branch announced that the Wii U would be able to support two Wii U Pads. However, the games that were shown at E3 so far will not be able to support two Wii U Pads. However, According to the President of the North American branch game are currently being made, but not with out some set backs. The Wii U’s frame rate will be cut down to 30 frames a second when there are two Wii U Pad’s connected to one Wii U console.

This announcement counters the announcement made last year when Nintendo was saying that the Wii U Pad would not be sold separately in stores. This brings some good news as Nintendo also show cased a black Wii U Pad as well as the white one. However, gamers are still left in the dark as to a price of what the Wii U Pad would cost in stores. There has been no indication on rather or not you can play four Wii-motes with the two Wii U Pads, but to be able to play 6 player co-op player games would be kind of cool here is keeping our figures-cross.

I'm sure that they will sell the tablets separatley. I mean Nintendo has always made a killing selling the peripherals to their systems. I'm sure the Wii-U will be no different in this regard. They have made "family" gaming what it is today, so I'm sure they will try to build on that success. Whether they are successful or not this time around, remains to be seen.

Your right nintendo tends to do really well when they sell their peripherals, however this time last year Nintendo was saying that they would not be selling the Wii U pad separately because of what it cost to make the Wii U Pad. However, this year they are now saying they will be selling it separately, which I think is awesome. However, I'm not sure if I like the fact that it will slow the system's frame rate in half to 30 frames a second.

It would be stupid of Nintendo NOT to sell them separately.  Both businessly and practically.  I'm sure those things aren't made with Nintendium, because as far as I know, they ran out of that during the GameCube days.  They will break, especially if people have to hold the thing with one hand.  And when they do, the person who now needs a new tablet SHOULD be able to go out and buy another one.  Plus, if they sell the peripherals separately, then they make more money that way, thus lowering the price of the system itself.

Speaking of price, I imagine it's going to be kind of hefty, but not PS3 crazy.  I'm gonna say over $300 but under $450.  Or maybe I'm horribly over/underestimating the kind of tech this machine has.  Either way, since it's backwards compatible (I think....hope) I'll be trading in my Wii.  That SHOULD cut the price quite a bit...but it's still gonna cost quite a bit.

I have been hearing of price being around $299...There is still so much we don't know about this system. We have dev's saying that the Wii U is more powerful then the PS3 and 360. Then we have dev's that say it is more powerful but not by much. Then we have dev's saying it's not worthy to be called a next gen system because it's weaker then the PS3 and 360. But with the internet being free to use and the new friends system that Nintendo is having this should be a pretty good system to own.

lilwildwolf21 : Yeah, but the people who are saying good things about it are Nintendo and their fans and people bashing it are Microsoft and their fans.  Someone from XBox said it's going to still be WEAKER than the current gen....which he is out of his mind.  Then Nintendo saying it's Next-Gen which is interesting but......well...it's interesting at least.
From what I've seen, definitely as powerful as an XBox or PS3, if not more.

The people I'm talking about are like Activision, EA, Kanomi, Campcom, Bioware, Ubisoft each of these companies have said one thing or another about how the Wii U is but none of them agree on anything except that it's made by Nintendo. Ubisoft had a really good showing of Zombie U which is a survivor horror type game. However, once again none of them can agree how good or bad the system actually is. But, they did that with the Wii as well and to me it is still the better system that uses motion game play.

Actually, the WiiU does have incredible graphics, but at the cost of overheating rather quickly. During a preview of it, they had it running at half power, and it's graphical capacity was twice that of the PS3. It's estimated to e around 5000p, which is much higher than the PS3's.
