Is it possible to reset the speed on a game to where it is normal speed again my brother was doing a report and used the space bar a lot so now I can't walk through a door because I move to fast.

Nope. I've done that before. I pressed every button on my keyboard, but it didn't slow down. You should just save state (F2), reset the Mupen64Plus, and load state (F4).

It depends on the game system. If this problem is for N64 with the Mupen64 emulator, it can't be reset without resetting the game - I think that was accidental in the coding that the space bar would speed it up in the first place.
