Personally I smoke and drink, really shouldn't be doing either. But if I had to choose one to give up and one to keep... I'd keep the drinking, mostly because it's not AS bad for me and I'm better at pacing myself with alcohol than tobacco. Plus I think my doctors would appreciate that choice more ha. I like to think I don't NEED either, but after a long day a beer or two is nice, and well... Okay maybe I'm addicted to the nicotine. Darn you big tobacco darn you!

I would choose drinking because I have tried both and smoking.... the taste in my mouth - it was truly disgusting and I will never try one again... drinking I don't like most tastes but if I had to choose ... drinking would be my choice.

I smoke and drink so for me it would be more like what bad habit would i have to quit lol
but if i had to quit one it would be drinking because i hardly ever drink at all and plus smoking is
cheaper then drinking is. I'd rather spend 6 dollars a pack then 23 dollars a 5th.

I would give up on life before either of them. I can't stand the smell of cigarettes let alone smoking them myself. And I take medication so I can't drink more than one pr two beers at a time. Alcoholism would definitely kill me.

If I had a choice between the 2 and there was no 3rd option, I would probably say drinking because even though it is harmful, it doesn't seem worse than smoking. Also, it can be fine sometimes if you limit your intake.

I will have to agree and say I would take alcohol over smoking (although I would be just fine with not having to take any of these choices) I think smoking is worse because it can lead up to lung and kidney failure, it can lead to forms of mouth and oral cancer and tons of other parts of the body it can destroy. Not to say alcohol is good by any means, but it just doesn't seem as severe as smoking and you can limit your input on it. I don't like either choice, but I would say alcohol is not as bad as smoking seeing how you can limit yourself on how much of it you can take, but I think that smoking will destroy you slowly and painfully.... by disease and lung failure.
