really? I felt like that is where things were headed.... or maybe that is what I was hoping for so when it happened I was happy.

I just think it's about time the group came together again and seemed like a strong unit for a while. They have been fragmented for a lot of this season and I'm getting tired of it. I also hope the Governor dies soon so they humans stop fighting each other.

I doubt you will or have been disapointed. Its very catchy stuff, even though it is very slow paced.

I really enjoyed this latest episode. It was sort of a side thing it seemed. Deviated to bring back an old character into the mix and then left him out but they still got the things they needed to keep going.

I also thought the hitchhiker part was well done. I couldn't believe they didn't pick him up and then they take his pack after he dies. So awesome.

I can't wait for Season 4. Honestly, I can't XD. I guess the only thing I can do is recap Season 3 . Get ready, this is going to be quite the overview. Also, the first few episodes of the season are a bit fuzzy for me, so I am going to recap most of it by using Wikipedia to boost my memory . I will do 4 posts, each with 4 episodes in them so I'm not too overwhelmed by all of it (otherwise these would be 10,000+ word posts. *WARNING* Contains spoilers up to current episode as of 4/19/13 *WARNING*

  S3 E1: Seed.

This was a pretty great opening to the Third Season. Andrea gone missing, presumably dead, the group on the road still. The time jump was somewhat confusing, at least for me, but I got used to it quickly. They quickly find an abandoned house, infested with walkers from the herd at the end of Season 2. They go out searching for food, and by a stroke of luck, they come across an abandoned prison! They get themselves in to the fenced in prison yard, and kill all the lone walkers roaming around inside. Rick realizes that the prison could hold a stash of supplies, so they decide to venture inside. It was a good start to the episode, with a lot of zombie killing action, and leads up well to the next part.

We get a quick shot of Andrea and Michonne, with Andrea appearing sick. I first assumed that she had been bitten, but it turned out she didn't. Anyways, we go back to the prison, the day after the group discovered it. They move forward, taking out the walkers in a cell block, and stay there for the night. Lori talks to Hershel, saying that she ruined her relationship with her family, and she thinks she might've miscarriaged, since she hasn't felt the baby kicking. I actually thought at that point that the baby had misacrriaged, and it would turn in to a zombie and devour her. Unfortunately for me, that doesn't happen

Rick, Daryl, Hershel, Glenn, T-Dog, and Maggie scout out the prison to clear out more of the prison. They forage ahead, until progress appears to be going nowhere. They end up in a turn of events, getting separated. Hershel attempts to find Glenn and Maggie, and gets bit in the leg by a walker who looked dead, but wasn't. Rick finds him, drags him in to a cafeteria, and amputates his leg below the knee. I must say, this scene is pretty cheesy. When he cuts the leg off, he hacks away at the spot 7 or 8 times aggressively, and you see the leg, and it is a clean cut, like someone neatly sliced it off XD. He starts to bleed out, and goes unconscious.

It turns out, there are 5 prisoners in that room, watching all of this go down. What will happen next? Cliff hanger!!!

So, my overview of this episode. It was a great opener to the season, and although a little but cheesy at times, it keeps you interested, and has a lot of zombie action. On a "Walking Dead" scale of 1 to 10, 1 being horrid, 5 being middle of the road, and 10 being the best episode ever, I would give it a 7/10, or a "Great"

  S3 E2: Sick

This episode picks up right where the last one left off. Hershel's leg is amputated, the 5 prisoners are sitting there astounded, and everyone starts freaking out. The group drags Hershel back to the cell block, then Lori and Carol tend to Hershel. Meanwhile, Rick, T-Dog, and Daryl confront the prisoners that followed them back to the cell block. Rick learns that these prisoners have been trapped in the cafeteria for 10 months. Basically 2 of these 5 guys (Tomas and Andrew) try to argue they deserve the rights to the prison, while Rick argues otherwise. He says that his group deserves the prison because they basically cleared the whole thing out while they "were stuck in a broom closet," At this point, you know that Rick or Daryl, or someone is going to kill these two soon. It is painfully obvious.

Anyways, they come to an agreement that they split the food supplies and the prison, and never interact with each other. They also say they will clear out an area for the prisoners to stay in. Rick and the group return with food for them to use. He makes Glenn handcuff Hershel in case he reanimates, and contemplates killing the prisoners. Carl goes out and scavenges a bunch of medical supplies, and then his mom scolds him for getting supplies that are probably Hershel's only chance of survival.

Rick gives the prisoners weapons to attack the zombies with (great insight Rick...), and shows them how to kill a zombie. The prisoners ignore his instructions, but end up getting the hang of killing them anyways. So they go along their merry way, killing zombies, chilling, until one prisoner (Big Tiny) gets scratched by a zombie. The three prisoners (Axel, Andrew, and Oscar) say that they should quarantine him, but Tomas ends up just brutally killing him.

The group arrives at a double set of doors. Rick tells them to only open one door to constrict the number of walkers that come in to the prison. Tomas just opens both doors, letting like 40 zombies storm the room. He then tries to kill Rick with his axe (that Rick gave him, great idea Rick...), which ends up failing. Someone pushes a walker at Rick, and Rick quickly pushes it off of himself, and kills Tomas. He then chases Andrew in to a fenced in part of the courtyard, with like 25 zombies in it, leaving him for dead.

Carol goes outside and kills a female walker. She does a trial C-Section in case Hershel doesn't wake up in time (or at all) to perform the surgery. According to wikipedia, someone is watching her, I don't remember that part though. Anyways, back at the prison, Hershel stops breathing. Lori performs CPR on him, and saves his life in turn. Rick brings back the 2 remaining prisoners, and let's them stay at the cleared cell block and have some of the food too.

Lori, who is still having a rocky time with Rick, tries to strike up an intimate conversation. He doesn't even care though (lol), and just thanks her for saving Hershel. Meanwhile, Hershel is now conscious, and is going to pull through.

My thoughts on this episode, it was pretty good. The plot was somewhat predictable, but it still kept me on the edge of my seat at points. For this episode, I would have to rate it a 5.5/10, a little bit better than average.

DEATHS: Axel, Big Tiny.

  S3 E3: Walk With Me

The episode starts off with a big scene, where an helicopter crashes, and there is a huge explosion. Almost everyone in the plane dies except for the pilot, who is barely alive. Michonne and Andrea (who is doing better now) find the scene, and begin to investigate the scene. All of the sudden, a group approaches the crash site. They hide outside of the crash site, and watch as this group gets the pilot. They take out all of the other crew members, who are beginning to re-animate, and tend to the pilot.

Michonne's walkers begin to moan and groan, so to avoid attracting attention, she slices their heads off. Out of the blue, a member from the group approaches Michonne and Andrea. Turns out, it's Merle! He has a prosthetic hand, with a knife blade attached to it. Andrea faints from shock, and we cut straight to Woodbury. Andrea wakes up in Woodbury, and interrogates Andrea and Michonne. He tells Andrea how he escaped from the rooftop on Atlanta, and how he ended up becoming the Governors right-hand man.

Andrea tells Merle what happened to her after Hershel's farm, and how the group left her behind, assuming she was dead. Merle still is ticked off that the group left him for dead. He brings them to meet The Governor. He shows them around the town, and how it is fortified, has lots of food, water, and electricity, etc. The Governor tells Angela, who didn't previously know, that all people, even those who weren't bit, turn in to walkers, explaining why they had killed the other crew members.

Michonne doesn't like the place from the start, and wants to leave. Angela convinces her to stay for a while longer, to see what it is all about. She gives in, and stays at the camp. We cut to the Governor interrogating the pilot. He tells them he was part of a refugee National Guard camp, and that everything went wrong when someone inside the camp became a walker. He tells the Governor where the few people left in the group where last, and the Governor says he will go and find them. At this point, even without reading the comics, you know this Governor dude is the bad guy already. They've pretty much dedicated the whole episode to him, so you know he is part of a bigger plot point for the season.

The Governors right hand man, Milton, talks to Andrea and Michonne during the following day's breakfast, to see if he could get any more information from them. Andrea talks, while Michonne stays quiet. Michonne has serious doubts about this place, while Andrea thinks that it is the perfect community for them to stay in.

We cut to the Governor, who has found the group of refugee National Guards. He hops out of the vehicle, and pretends to be friendly. They begin to approach him, and a small group of his take out all of the refugee's (surprise surprise). He takes the vehicles, and supplies, and leaves the spot where he found them. He returns to Woodbury, and tells the pilot that all of them were dead when he got there. He stresses how important Woodbury is to his safety.

The final scene is by far the most shocking. The Governor, not being able to sleep, opens a locked door in his room. He sits in an armchair, and you see him watching decapitated heads in aquariums, one of them being the pilots head, still ALIVE.

So, this episode was alright in my opinion, but could've been better. You could take out half the episode, and it would still be a bit lacking, but the parts that were good were done REALLY well. The plot-twist at the end with the aquarium of zombie heads was done nicely, and even though you knew the Governor was evil the whole time, it was still surprising just how evil he was. I'll give it a 4.5/10, or a little bit worse

than average for a Walking Dead episode, which means compared to other shows, it was a great episode

DEATHS: All crew members of the helicopter crash, all National Guard Refugee's

   S3 E4: Killer Within

So this episode starts with an unidentifiable person trailing a deer carcass towards the prison. There is a trail of walkers following him/her/it, and is picking up pieces of the deer along the way. The person breaks the lock to the prison gate, placing the heart of the deer near by.

Rick starts discussing with the group about disposing the zombie carcasses (carcassi?) from the prison to make it a more hospitable place. Suddenly, Axel and Oscar come in to the cell block, and plead to join Rick's group, as their Cell Block is unsuitable for living. Rick declines, and says the decision made before was final. The prisoners continue pleading, and Rick, backed up by most of the group, sends them back to their cell block with a one weeks supply of food. He plans to cast them out after they run out.

Back at Woodbury, Michonne is still suspicious of the whole town. She is looking at the supplies retrieved from the National Guard refugee's, and notices bullet holes and blood splattered on the vehicle (gee, I wonder what that is...). She questions the Governor about this, but he ignores all of her questions, and just asks her to stay in Woodbury. Michonne goes back to Andrea, and tells her that she has plans of leaving Woodbury and fleeing for the coast.

We come back to Hershel, at the prison, taking his first steps after the amputation. Everyone is all happy and celebrating, when the courtyard becomes over-run with walkers. They all run out, and begin killing zombies so they can secure the inner gate. As they are doing this, T-Dog gets bit on the shoulder. Glenn finds that the outer gate has been breached, and he assumes that Axel and Oscar did it. Suddenly, the sound of prison alarms go off, and they realize the prisoners aren't to blame.

Axel and Oscar rush in, and say they heard the prison sirens go off. They know how to shut them down, so Rick sends them to get the sirens off while his group takes out the walkers. We cut back to Woodbury, where Andrea let's Merle know that she might know where Daryl is. She tells him where Hershel's farm, and how Daryl might still be there. Merle wants Andrea to come along, but she declines him. The Governor at first declines coming with Merle to find Daryl, but says if he finds more information, he would go along.

Andrea and The Governor begin to develop a relationship, and you can tell that Andrea is not going to leave Woodbury. Michonne is disappointed in her friend, but accepts that Andrea wants to stay.

Back at the prison, we see Carol coming over to T-Dog, offering assistance, but he refuses, since he knows he will die anyways. He runs in to a crowd of walkers and takes as many down as he can before he ends up getting mauled to death. On the other side of the prison, Lori begins to go in to labor. Carl and Maggie quickly find her, and the three go in to a boiler room where there are no walkers. Lori begins to bleed, and realizes she will not survive child birth. She reconciles with Carl, and tells Maggie to perform a C-Section. Maggie does it, and Lori bleeds to death. Carl knows that any minute, Lori could reanimate, so he has to shoot her in the head before this happens.

We cut back to the generator room, where Rick finds Andrew, the prisoner who Rick pushed in to a fenced in part of the courtyard rushing in. He says he is the perpetrator who attacked Rick from behind with the walker before, and he begins to scuffle with Rick. Daryl closes the doors behind him so no walkers can get in to the room. Oscar, who is also there, picks up Rick's gun. Andrew pressures Oscar to shoot Rick, but he ends up shooting Andrew. He hands the gun back to Rick, and shuts off the emergency generators powering the sirens.

Glenn and Axel quickly rejoin them, and as they go out to the courtyard, they find T-Dog's remains. They also find Carol's headband, and assume that she is dead. They find Beth and Hershel out in the courtyard, and Rick begins to go back to search for the others. He starts to leave, when Carl, Maggie, and the baby come back. Initially, Rick wonders where Lori is, but he soon realizes that she is dead. He collapses in sorrow, and the episode ends.

This episode was a really good episode overall. There was a ton of action, a lot of cliff hangers, a lot of plot twists, and it just was incredibly interesting. It kept a good pace, and got in some storyline for everyone. T-Dog's death was amazing, and the whole scene was just great. I give this episode a 8.5/10 on the Walking Dead scale, being an "Amazing"

   DEATHS: Andrew, Lori, T-Dog

1st Quarter Recap: So far, the start of the season has been captivating. The Woodbury story arc is starting off well, and while things could've started a bit more subtly with the Governor, it is OK that he just goes full out killing the refugees at the start. Most of the episodes did things well, and after the Season 2 slump where they spent 3/4 of the season searching for a lost cause, it starts off the season well. Overall, I'd give the first 4 episodes a 7/10, or a "Great"

Those are my thoughts on the 1st four episodes, and it will only get better as the Season goes on

I can't wait for Season 4. Honestly, I can't XD. I guess the only thing I can do is recap Season 3 . Get ready, this is going to be quite the overview.

I have seen every episode to date and I am impatiently
waiting for October to roll around for the new season. Dx
And I think posting the synopsis for your favorite episodes
is kind of spammy... A brief summary would be better.
And my favorite episode would probably have to be from
the end of the most recent season, when they showed what
happened to Morgan.

Glad they played a marathon this past Independence Day. So ready for Season 4 next month. Also pumped that the cast is coming down here for Comic Con next as well. Really don't go 2 those things, but if the cast of The Walking Dead is coming down especially that sexy zombie killer Lauren Cohan I'll be there.

It was a very good Season opener I think. I'm sure it will get crazy real fast, that is why the first episode showed them in a relax living state. I wonder what is with the new sickness with the bloody eyes will be all about. Really hope they stay more comic book than off on a wild story. Well till next week I suppose.

The opening for the Fourth Season was incredible compared to how they left us with the final episode of season 3.

They ruined Andrea's character, I can only hope they don't do that with the terrifying Michonne.

I still can't wait to see how they bring The Governor back into this.

Well the 2nd half of season 4 is nearly here. I for one love this season. We are getting a lot more Daryl and I think we can all agree that's a good thing. Michonne is getting a lot more character development, Carl is turning into a bada**, can't wait to see how they end this season.

I'm a good way through the second season and it's certainly been one of most well-made TV shows that I've watched.

It's all action and little relaxation. I love those types of shows, since it really engages me more than any other type of TV show.

Yes I have a website that I go to.. and watch the series.. I am on season 3 right now watching it with my younger sister. I love the walking dead.. when I get to season 4 and finish that it's going to suck though because I will have to wait until they finish airing season 5 on TV.. I don't have TV service so I can't really watch it until it comes out online.

I love the walking dead, I underestimated it, I thought it was just going to be all about killing zombies with no substance, but it actually hits on some very serious subject matter and makes you think, it's very well written. The last few episodes I've watched were slightly disappointing, just acting-wise I guess, but it's still a great show.

This show is just freaking incredible.

I'm about halfway through season 4 right now. Although I'm kinda disappointed with Rick's character progression. I mean, if the zombie apocalypse was actually happening, bringing in TONS of people into your woefully undersupplied base is probably not the best survival move. At this point I just don't know how season 4 could end without massive death. I'm predicting that everyone in the camp dies to be honest and that only 5-6 main characters survive (including li'l a**kicker of course )
