classicscordo : You must be talking about the second badge, or the grass badge. When you defeat Team Steam for the third time, you should have beaten the gym in the town, this would have given you the permission to use Lava Surf, which would ultimately get you to the 5th gym, along with Strength. Don't worry, you're not stupid, I had the exact same problem when I started on the game.

I don't think you can find them there, but I'll keep looking. I can always just teach ice beam to something but would rather have a sneasel. Or get a non-dark type, but where's the fun in that?

corgan89 : Are you using Mednafen? Different versions of the game do different things, like Mednafen is known for recording videos, while the other version is known for just playing through it. Other than that can you perhaps avoid the space that freezes you? If you need the trainers to move you just go out and come back in.

Hey. I need help. I beat the Zhery league and went to Lauren. I completed the second gym, taught glide to my Charizard and defeated some more gyms. I beat the 4 one I think then flied to Serenity City as I needed the move deleter, and deleted my Charizard's Lava Surf and Glide. Now, when I try flied to Lauren, I can only fly till the second city. And there, I need Glide to go through. What to do?

Also, how to open the locked door in some cities? Thanks!
