I would love to work as a whale or dolphin trainer. Seriously, how could you dread going to work when your job is to go play with a dolphin or whale? Impossible.

I would hate to go back working as one of those people who call people to take surveys over the phone. I constantly had some pretty rotten things said to me and I was yelled at a lot. It was horrible.

I would love to be a drummer in a touring band. Regardless of how much I got paid I would just be thrilled to do something like that. 

A job I would hate would definitely have to be cleaning houses... I do not like to clean houses.

I guess I'd prefer a job either having to do with technology (as in computers and stuff) or something to do with music. A job that I would hate would probably have something to do with Customer Service more than likely. I feel as though the older I get, the more quickly I tend to lose my patience and answering the same questions everyday would only set me off.

It's hard to say... I guess the only job I've ever had that I really liked was working in a tech support call center, but those jobs aren't exactly easy to come by. I also like designing websites, but I hate working with clients, so that kind of ruins the experience. Maybe I'd like print better, but that's less forgiving of mistakes... I think I'd like to work on Plan-9 from Bell Labs, but I don't have any experience programming for a large company, so I have no idea what that's like, and I might hate it.

As for jobs I hate, goodness me. Like rcarter, I hated working as a survey caller. What an awful, awful job. Nobody was ever really rude to me, it was just extremely boring and there was nothing you could do to make the time go by more quickly. Also I'm in the Army now, and it's probably the worst. The only reason I mentioned the survey taker first was because at least I make good money in the Army.

As childish as this sounds I always wanted to be an astronaut or Rocket scientist to study planets and go to space that kind of stuff always has and forever will intrigue me. Unfortunately you have to be born an astronaut (perfect vision, etc..) something i was born without. I'm not saying having glasses is a travesty, i kind of like them anyway it just prevented me from becoming an astronaut.

As for hate, I would hate to be a lolly-pop man if they still have them, I remember when i was a kid and I lived right next to this old woman that did the job like 24/7. I used to go to school and she'd be there struggling to stand as it is and on coming back home she'd still be there, frail and whethered it was excrutiating to even look at her (not that she was ugly but it looked like the job really wasnt suited to her)

The job that I would love to have is hopefully another two and half years of study away, I'm studying podiatric medicine (podiatry or chiropody). It a field of medicine that does not have many members but it definitely pays well.

the job I would hate is fast food anything,I've been there and done it and I hated it.

I job I would love is one that I have already applied for an apprenticeship for, which is working in a nursery.

A job I would hate would either be a call centre or in McDonalds or something.

Well I would love to be a Biochemical Engineer, due to my high intellect and my ability to do my best in everything I do without the need of support would make me a really good work. I would hate to be a garbage man though. I'd be super smelly after work, so I'd have to come home and shower, I am slightly germ phobic, so I'd probably get fired after the first day, Ha ha.

I would love to be a a doctor, a cardiologist to be exact, I have always wanted to be one, but It is a long and expensive journey, and I just don't have the money to go to medical school right now at least . I would hate to be the guy who cleans up road kill on the side of the road!

Assuming that all jobs got paid the same amount of money, I would want to buy an actor. I've always had identity problems Being a researcher or a lawyer doesn't sound bad either, I love debating more than almost anything else

   I would love to be a guitarist in a touring band.  That's the dream job for me.  If not that, I'd also really like to be a forensic pathologist or something to do with developing technology.

   I would hate to work as in telemarketing, call center, or customer service.  They seem to take a lot of heat, which I probably wouldn't be able to take.  I'd just verbally destroy every rude person.

I would hate a desk job, but I really don't know what job I would love. I'm in Videogame Programming right now, so I'm hoping my interest in that starts to develop this semester. I have some interest now, but I'm going to need more.

I would LOVE to work in a book store or be a librarian, I've actually done both for short periods of time I loved it. As they say books are your ticket to other worlds, and its FREE! Well for the most part. And yes I include manga in books. 
I would HATE to work at fast food, too much temptation to eat it. Or in a bakery since I'm diabetic and can't eat a lot of sweets.

Lazlo Falconi : I'm part of the mineral resource department for XTO energy, I work out on oil rigs as an on-site Geologist, I produce a log from data collected through passon or even some times rignet, witch in term means I give descriptions of the lithology under your feet while the rig drills. Right now we are drill a water base rig and only getting methane , although we had a small hit of H2s (
hydrogen sulphide, also know as sour gas) were about 400ft from target pay-zone bossier shale. We should reach TD (total depth) around 12,950 after the 400 foot limestone formation with is the cotton valley lime, anything else you would like to know?
