Hi guys just a quick heads up, I've noticed all versions of Gemfire has an old glitch to it. After the first attack,  no units can be moved or used. This freezes the game. It was a common problem with games like this back in the day, it meant that the game's battery was almost dead or low. It might be tough to find an actual working version of this game. Most Roms I've played of this game have this glitch. Everything else works correctly, random events, seasons, being able to build your territories. Makes winning or beating the game, impossible. Just thought I'd bring it to your attention.May want to add it to your fix list???

Um...iv completed gemfire on vizzed, you must be doing something to trigger this.

I can only conclude that the rom might be corrupted since screenshots on that page show the game as completed. If one of you can confirm that it's not working, I'll replace the rom.

I might check into it myself sometime, but it would be quicker if I had someone else show me the problem instead of playing through the game to find the glitch.

I forgot to mention that you can retrieve your save state locally.

What you'll do is, on your computer, go to Start Menu > All Programs > Vizzed Retro Game Room > Open Plugin Data Folder. Then you'll find ZSNES, then Saves.

The save state file will have the extension .zst where as the in-game save will have .srm. I'd want the save state file.
