The only scientific possibility would be manipulating the atoms via repulsion and attraction (like magnets) but how would you generate that, and in a unique way that would actualy allow direct control. Until we can do it with machines, i think no.

I have seen no convincing evidence for the existence of telekinesis, although I wish I could perform it. Annette's reference to Randi is a pretty amusing anecdote related to it... Does anyone remember Uri Geller, spoon-bender extraordinaire? James Randi showed that his "psychic abilities" could easily be replicated with a bit of ingenuity and without any paranormal activity. When you consider concepts such as telekinesis, crop circles, and ghosts, I recommend keeping an open mind, but also being skeptical. I would love to see a link to the studies you are referring to. It seems somewhat likely to me that you are operating under the common belief that "Humans only use 10% of their brains, imagine how much we could accomplish if we used all of it!" That idea has seeped into a lot of media over the years, including (off the top of my head) Kyle XY, Heroes, and the recent film Limitless. Wikipedia can be edited by many users, but it also has decent guidelines on having sources. If you go to the bottom of most Wikipedia pages, you will find a multitude of other sources to review at your leisure, and it's very useful for that. I did read your entire post, and all the part where you said "thats what ive heard" just indicates that you are believing secondhand stories about studies that may or not exist, just because you want to believe you can move things with your mind. All three of my sources are reasonably reputable, and here you are trying to invalidate them by yourself rather than providing contrary evidence. If you think whoever you heard about the 10% myth from was more reliable than Bill Nye, than by all means let me know. As a side note, I will also say that one prominent fellow who perpetuated the myth was Uri Geller, whom I referenced in my first post as being an exposed fraud. xD

People say "I heard..." all the time when they really mean that they read it. There's no reason to get bent out of shape because he asked for a source. And if you can't provide a source, then maybe you should question what you heard. In fact, without any real sources to back that up, there's no reason that you should believe it at all. And Mors is certainly not trying to invalidate your claims without evidence. He has provided evidence. You have not. He has done nothing hypocritical. I would like to beg you to be reasonable for a moment, and understand why your claim is so hard to believe. It's not supported by evidence, it has no credible sources, and it's just something that you heard about at some point. That certainly doesn't seem to convincing.

Now as for my belief on telekinesis, I don't think it's real. As soon as someone can provide a legitimate source that shows otherwise, I'll change that. But until then, it's not possible.

Possibly. I've seen clips of people "using telekinesis" but I don't believe that that part is true. For one, I believe that it does enhance your brain, but not necessarily to the point in which you move things. If nothing else, it 'd be like predicting the future or something.

Here is my theory on the theory of telekinesis.

  You see lots of animals (especially in the Ocean) who have alternative means of communication like sonar, or sharks that have a sixth sense where they sense radio waves, and I feel that if we as human beings have or ever had cognitive abilities like telekinesis, it wasn't like a talking though the brain sort of thing, but probably closer to sensations of feelings, kind of like when you know someone's mad or something.  
  
  If there were a time when we could easily access our telekinetic abilities, we would probably have much difficulty using them now as we have so much unnecessary stress and stupid things that go on in our daily lives, that our minds can never reach the kind of state to allow us to open and use our minds freely.

  I know it sounds weird and whatnot, but that's my personal hypothesis on the use of telekinetic abilities; inn short, I don't really know if there are, but I really hope that there is... because that would be cool.
