thing1 : Are you sure you're playing with plugin and not the Java emulator? Because computers just don't work that way. I have a sneaking suspicion that you just downloaded the RGR plugin (Without installing it, because THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE) then started playing with the Java emulator.

Well no wonder it worked. Running the RGR through Windows on your PS3 is not at all the same as running the RGR on your PS3.
