I guess you could say I'm addicted to the internet. I'm addicted to anime, RPing, good vidya games and awesome people.

Also Homestuck. I couldn't fight it.

I used to be a real Smash bros. Brawl addict ( 1400 hours aka 59 or so days of game time. )

I was addicted to pornography for a while when I was 19. I had gone through a bad break up and turned to that for comfort. I came out of it when I met my friends and found Jesus, but I have on occasion struggled off and on with it. It's definitely not the every day occurrence that it used to be, for sure.

I think I'm somewhat addicted to energy drinks. They don't give me energy most of the time because my metabolism is already so high, but I just LOVE their unique flavors.  I don't go into withdrawal from them or anything, but I'm always craving them, and I buy them frequently even though I'm actually a very frugal person and I hate how much they cost.  Thus, maybe it's only considered a quasi-addiction.

I have, in the past, been truly addicted to role-playing though.  I think some of you in this thread are using the term 'addiction' lightly, but I'm talking about serious addiction.  Addictions get in the way of your real life and cause bad things to happen.  That's the way I used to be with role playing.  I wanted to role play all the time, and I would neglect work, house, and family just to get a few minutes in.  I missed sleep, skipped meals, and did dishonest things so that I could participate in it.  I'm thankful God saw me through that addiction, and that I can look back on it, a changed lady.

I was addicted to Pokémon games like emerald ruby and sapphire, I played over 100 play hours in each of them, and I have lots of high leveled Pokémon, the only way to solve my addiction was to beat the game and catch all the legendary Pokémon. I have gotten over that addiction now....to have it replaced by making a 1000 posts on vizzed I really want to get that far. Anyway I still like Pokémon games and put a decent amount of time into them, but I am not hooked and crazy like I was before, I can stop no and do things instead before I didn't want to do simple things like eat dinner or hang out with family more, but know I don't have that issue anymore, I just try to get on vizzed often and hang out with my online friends as much as possible, and always try to post!

I've been addicted to things, some were for a short period of time, some longer, and a few that still continue on.

I guess you could say i am addicted to milk, but i don't think that's really bad.

I guess you could say that I was addicted to playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. I would get up, play some COD, go to school, come home from school, play COD until dinner, and then play until I would go to bed
I have outgrown this addiction because of two major things.

Number 1-It got boring because I played it so much.
Number 2-The hackers!

The hackers were such an annoyance in that game that it drove me to insanity to the point of throwing my controller and then shutting off the console. Enough of my rant. What about you?

No, I've never been addicted to something. I also never want to be addicted to something. I've been doing pretty good.

I'm addicted to computers. There is some weird force pulling me to the computer, and holding me tight for 6 hours straight. I get really happy when someone gets me out of here, though I tend to hide it.

Hmm... I was addicted to computers and gadgets (well except phones), but I make sure of their quality and everything first before buying them. Like what I'm doing right now with PSP vita. I'm actually waiting for its games to pile up first and for it's price to go lower as I hate overpriced gadgets. I'm also addicted to music since I already play some instruments ever since I was a kid, so don't make me go near a music store or we'll stay there forever.

World of Warcraft

I've never had an addiction that couldn't be overcome. I usually try to avoid anything that is known to lock someone's mind into a trance. Usually I have extremely short addictions to some new /old computer games I get a hold of. I like to have some sort of variety in life, so it's never been a huge issue for me.
