The majority of the mainstream news outlets seem to have a major bias in presenting their stories, so I tend to keep away for the most part. Online there are some good independent networks such as RussiaToday, which cover global events with as much neutrality as possible. I would recommend checking them out for a fair analysis of global events.

I enjoy the news at some points when there's something happening that is really news breaking and interesting. I find my self to watch the news when I am sitting at home and have nothing to do nor watch. I also like looking at the different content of news such as celebrities,contests etc.

Way too many journalists or their company have become way too corrupt for my tastes; it is hard to find a trustworthy news source. I usually do not watch televised news, but stick to the Internet. Still, you can not help but get glimpses of the news teasers while watching network television; even on the DVR, they are hard to miss.

I do not like Fox News mainly due to Bill O'Rielly being a jackass. He just taints the whole network for me.
