my Teams, the Falcons and the Chiefs, are switching spots this year. If you don't remember, last year the Chiefs went 2-14 while the Falcons went 13-3.  But this year, everything has changed. The Chiefs have gone 6-0 this year and the Falcons have gone 1-4? I don't know how they are doing but it is not very good.

One of my teams, the Giants are sinking. I am lucky that the Jets have already won more games than they were expected to win all year, or I would have had some sort of a breakdown.

Yeah, I'm honestly not sure which is more surprising...the Giants being 0-6 or the Jets being 3-3. lol

Chewedmint : Well now the Jets are 4 and 3 and I am 100 percent shocked that they beat the Patriots the way they did on Sunday. The way they were playing in Overtime, either the Jets were going to lose or they were going to have to do another overtime. As for the Giants, if they lose tonight, a lot of people across the city are going to be mad.

Well it seems like the season is close to over for my Bears. With how bad/injured the defense is I'm not sure they can stop anyone ESPECIALLY against the run. They are going to have to out-score teams and with Jay out with a torn Groin for AT LEAST 4 weeks, the chances aren't good.

The only hope they have is that the Packers are pretty banged up as well so maybe they can tread water until Jay comes back.

I noticed a LOT of players going down this week, especially long time Veterans who are rarely injured. Wayne, Bradford, Cutler, Cushing and Leon Hall and that's just to name a few.

Reggie Wayne is a huge loss for the Colts, but I think they'll be able to overcome it. Check out this stat:

The Seahawks, 49ers, and Broncos, widely regarded as the top 3 teams in the NFL, have all lost to the Colts this season. Against the rest of the league, they are a combined 17-1. FYI, the one loss was a divisional match up between the Seahawks and 49ers.

The Colts are legit.

Chewedmint : Colts are pretty darn good, but my feelings for them tempered a little after watching the Chargers dominate the ball on them and pretty much shut them down the entire game. Although a lot of the problem was bad drops by the receivers...(had some more last night too) having Wayne out isn't going to help that any.

If watching the NFL has shown you anything, any team can win on any given day. Heck the JAGUARS were able to hang with the Broncos.

Give the Colts credit though, they had a nice game plan against Manning and executed it fairly well. The fumble by Richardson late in the game though almost blew it for them.

I feel the Patriots were robbed yesterday.

Yes, the Jets won, but in a disgusting way.

But if you look at Rex Ryan, his decision for a 50+ yard field goal wasn't very ideal. Give the ball back to Brady near mid-field, and the Patriots will probably get a field goal and win.

But the 15 yard penalty in my opinion was ridiculous.

Sidewinder : Technically, the penalty was correct. It's a new rule that was just added this year.

Either way though, Rex Ryan was out of his mind going for that 56 yard field goal. Punt it and pin the Patriots deep in their own territory, the Jets defense would shut them down like they did the whole 2nd half. He's lucky the Jets won or he'd be getting ripped for that bone headed decision.

Azul Fria : I can't believe how bad the vikings are this year they should have gotten better this year with all there draft picks not worse. And yeah the giants are as bad as ever they only play well when they can tell the future and see that the pats are in the superbowl so they can foil them.

I find it hilarious how Denver isn't even in first place now. KC isn't about to lose anytime soon either, their schedule is incredibly weak.

Chewedmint : Don't they still have to play Denver twice? Plus the Chargers have played well in spurts and I could see them winning one game against them.

Don't get me wrong KC is a good team so far, but until Smith shows he can throw the ball more than 10 yards down field I see them losing like 3 games or so.

FYI, let me just say I hate the RAMS for calling Favre and opening that whole can of worms. I mean they are so desperate they want to hire a 44 year old QB that hasn't played in like 2 years? Now we are going to have to hear about it non-stop on ESPN and other sport channels.

Jordanv78 : Yeah, asking Favre to come back for them shows you how desperate they are. Well, next up on over covered players is Tebow, so he's going to be called up next. Although Tebow will take anything right now. Sure that would get much more attention.

patar4097 : I don't think the Rams are desperate enough to sign Tebow. At the same time, the Rams are so bad that I wouldn't be surprised if they do. Bradford is out, their passing game is weak with Bradford, let alone without, and their running game isn't good. Zac Stacy is their best bet, but he isn't good enough to give them wins.

megamanmaniac : Well, Tebow is pretty much better than nobody (sometimes).  And if they don't have a good running game, he could maybe help a little bit. I just don't know if they have any moves that would be any better. Although I doubt Tebow will make their team worse. Although, I have no idea who their backup is right now, so maybe they will just throw him in. I don't think any moves will really effect the outcome of their season much.

patar4097 :
megamanmaniac :

The Rams are pretty darn desperate if they are calling a 44 year old Favre that hasn't played since like 2010.

That said, I think it pretty much speaks for itself the thoughts that NFL teams have about Tebow that they would call an old washed up player before they called him. Ya know?

I mean look how bad the Jaguars are? That's an area that holds the biggest concentration of Tebow fans in the country and they still haven't brought him in yet. Their season has long been over too.

I think many teams are shying away from that Circus because they know he doesn't have what it takes to be an NFL QB and he REFUSES to change to H back or TE in order to keep an NFL job...which is what many coaches/GM's have told him he has to do to stay in the league.

I don't understand why no one gives Tebow a chance. Sure, his stats aren't pretty like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, but he led a bad Broncos team to the playoffs and beat a good Steelers team. A team like the Jaguars should give him a chance; it's not like they have anyone better than Tebow anyway. Tebow would also put butts in the seats, even on a bad team like the Jaguars.

Chewedmint : I hear what you are saying, but I believe that the talent scouts/coaches/GM's in the NFL have a firm grasp on what it takes to play the QB position in the NFL. The problem is that they feel he cannot be accurate enough downfield to be a starter...and the distractions and media circus surrounding him is not worth it just for a 2nd or 3rd string QB.

I do agree that it's strange the Jags wouldn't' bring him in if for no other reason than to sell tickets. I guess I should give them credit for not "selling out" even in a bad season.

As far as him making the playoffs? He was in a fortunate position that year and had some VERY fortunate plays go his way. Not only that, he had the best defense in the NFL that year.

Best defense in the NFL? I don't recall them being that good... I know they got better once Tebow took over as the starter but they were awful in the first five games when they went 1-4 with Kyle Orton as the starter.
