Cleveland's starting QB Brian Hoyer tore his ACL early in the 1st quarter of Thursday's game against the Bills.

I was watching this game and saw the play; I could immediately tell when he got hit that something was wrong. It's a shame because he finally gets a chance to be a starter, plays fairly well leading his team to two wins against playoff teams from last season, then gets hurt on a play that probably could have been avoided. I can't help but feel bad for him, even though I'm not a Browns fan. I'm glad the Browns ended up winning the game, even without him. They are actually leading the division now, so there's a bit of good news.

For my most favorite NFL team, the Pittsburgh Steelers aren't having a really good season so far, pretty much lost their first 4 games of the year and this is not them pretty much with all this loss this early in the season, I don't know

Who would have thought the Chiefs would be one of two (three if Denver wins) undefeated teams left in the NFL? The Patriots lost an ugly game to the Bengals and Tom Brady's streak of 52 straight games with a TD pass came to an end. The Seahawks also let one get away; Seattle clearly outplayed Indianapolis but the defense couldn't get off the field on 3rd down and Andrew Luck made them pay.

Also, more bad news for the Jaguars. Their first round draft pick Luke Joeckel is done for the year after suffering a high ankle fracture in today's game against the Rams. I feel bad for Jaguars fans. Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong for the Jags this season.

Well it looks like my team is out of it. Good job Giants. They are 0 and 5. I doubt that they can come back from that. I guess I will have to root for my second team, the Packers.

tgags123 : If you want to be a true fan, don't stop watching your team. 0-5? Get to 0-16 first. Then you can start to give up on them.

Well, terrible game for the Lions. Without Johnson, I knew we had no choice, but we didn't even put up a fight. If we want any chance of a playoff chance, we can't do something like that again. Still don't know why Megatron didn't play though.
But at least the Bears lost again, so they don't gain a game on us. So I think we might actually be the number 1 team right now. Although with our top 2 receivers out, we won't be able to much.

tgags123 : When the division leader has a record of 2-3, every team still has a chance.

In other news, Josh Freeman has signed a one year contract with the Minnesota Vikings. That didn't take long.

One thing I will say is that the Chiefs might actually be for real. Not sure how they will win a playoff game since Smith seems unable/unwilling to throw the ball consistently more than 6 yards downfield...but their defense and running game are solid.

The Texans fans should be ashamed of themselves for cheering when Shaub got hurt...besides, TJ Yates isn't any better and he CERTAINLY wont win you a SuperBowl. Stop smoking that crack Texans fans. Want to point a finger at someone? How about the defense which has been HORRIBLE this season.

Broncos fans too should be ashamed. One mediocre half and you are booing your offense off the field at half? lol You still scored over 30 points!

I've also noticed that theres a LOT of bad defense being played in the league this season lol

I'm not a Broncos or Colts fan, but I must say the Broncos @ Colts game on Sunday Night Football next weekend is going to be a must-see, for obvious reasons. I'm certainly looking forward to it.

It's a really great thing that the Steelers have won their first game of the season, but on the same day, the Saints lost their first game of the season, so a lot of first this last Sunday.

In the Saints game, I though they were going to win in, until the last 5 seconds of the game and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, the Patriots ends up getting the touchdown and shocked nearly everyone that watched the game.

IgorBird122 : I wouldn't say 'shocked,' I mean don't forget who the quarterback of the Patriots is. It's not the first time he's done something like this. I don't think you can ever count the Patriots out as long as Belichick and Brady are there.

Jordanv78 : Fan or not, anyone who would pay money to see the best team face the worst team in NFL just for sake of seeing a massive point advantage is mentally ill. Now if you paid to see the worst team beat the best team that is a different story

Chewedmint :   As a Kansas City Chiefs fan, I was glad to see that the Broncos got such a "Warm" cheer from their fans. Hopefuly that will get their spirits down and the Chiefs can win the division.

I don't see how the Eagles could go back to Vick after how Foles played this past Sunday. He was able to throw all day on a pretty decent defense. He's been much more efficient through the air overall than Vick ESPECIALLY on 3rd down which is where the Eagles have struggled.

Also, I was surprised that the Colts Chargers game was so low scoring. It almost seemed like the Colts were looking ahead to next week vs the Broncos in Mannings return to Indy. Either way his receivers did Luck no favors dropping several key passes.

Jordanv78 : Foles was good on Sunday, but he is still very inexperienced. He has only started a handful of games. I don't think I could trust him to produce like this consistently. Maybe he'll prove me wrong, but when in doubt I'll always go with the veteran.

I really cant believe the Colts lost last night to San Diego. They looked horrible on offense dropping so many passes. I really hope they play better on Sunday night against Denver and Manning. I would love for Denver's first loss of the season to be at the hand of the Colts. I guess we will just have to see Sunday night.

I would also love to see everyone's reactions if Peyton Manning were to lose to his former team. Manning was talking to reporters today and wouldn't talk about the Colts at all; he didn't even mention their name. He just called them 'the next team,' but we all know that's not true.
