Even though septembern hasn't been getting a lot of jerseys lately, he's still getting enough points lately for each jersey to hold on to 1st place for overall points for each jersey. It would be great if someone could take one of them from him though because it seems like a waste if a single person gets to wear all 4 jerseys and the rainbow banner all next month.

Yeah I suppose that's a good point. If Sept can keep up his activity, his chances of getting all the jerseys are pretty good. Still, there is a good 20 days left in the month. We'll see

Of course, if you had said spam, then I would take that as flame baiting, but as it is most obviously spasm, I am perfectly content with correcting that misconception.

I think that the real question is just trying to grab a certain jersey. I have not being trying that much. I'm sure that if you guys try enough you can grab 2 out of my 4. I would hate to win all four jerseys. That would be no fun.

To set the record straight, it's pretty obvious septembern will win the rainbow jersey.

No one seems to be really trying, so if someone does try, it could become a challenge.

However, I implore you to think about this for a second. We are 1/3 of the way through the competition.

The only way for sept to NOT win the rainbow jersey is if the person who passes sept ends up totally dominating ALL the jerseys, and sept doesnt place well in one or two jerseys each day.

If I had to put a percentage on it...

As the competition goes on, this percentage will get more and more overwhelming. The window is just about closed, and only the most determined and skilled will be able to pass him.

But given the effort levels of the entire field so far, the scenario is unlikely at best.

However, it is rather possible to win one of the jerseys, the easiest at this point being the red one.

legacyme3: well... at least you think I have a chance. And if you do the math... I have gotten the blue jersey 4 times in a row.  I doubt I can keep up the streak that long. But... I am hell bent on at least giving sept a run for his money. I think I have more than a 0.5 percent chance. Honestly... I think I have more along the lines of 5 to 10 percent, maybe twenty if i bust  by butt the entire time. I mean... come on... I have gotten Ravering Syndrome 4 times in the past 24 hours. Granted... I have only won red once... Yellow Three times, and blue once, and no greens... I still think I have a very good chance of pulling of an upset... At least to get third over all.

Davideo7 : I just got banned from Crazy House until tomorrow my Nitori. The reasoning in the private message was that more than 50 percent of my posts have been in there lately. I thought we wanted activity... not banning people from certain forums for being too active. I mean, if there are rules such as these, they should be clearly defined somewhere. I do not know why I am being punished for an unofficial rule. This is just not right in my opinion.

Excuse the double post, but I also thought I'd mention those in line for VIP (purple name) status in the chat room since we are 1/3rd of the way through the competition.

I forget what we agreed on before, but I think top 3 non-staff in overall points would be the best, kind of like the VCS...

thing1 : 1 day is really not anything, and truly, it is to prevent you from posting any more in there and be at the point where you are considered to be cheating for the TdV.

Keeping that in mind, there is no real reason to remove the ban rather than just live it out and post in a few other forums. Mind you, 50% is rather an immense amount of posts in there. I got banned with hypermonkey once for doing something like that early 2010. That was a 3 day ban. I don't think that we even got to 50 posts in there for the day, let alone 75.

thing1 : One day won't kill you. Tomorrow you'll be able to go and post there again. Your sandwich posts pretty much caught up to you I suppose.

The thing is, as I explained in chat, I think this is for the best. It avoids a "Wait, how come I didn't win? Just because I didn't want to spam the hell out of the forum to qualify for the blue or green jersey" situation.

The way it's set up, only 20 names can be in those spots.

I will always occupy 4 of those spots, and the rest of staff generally takes 4-8 spots as well.

With this certainty, only 12 spots are reasonably attainable, and several users will take up multiple spots.

As such, 4-8 users will populate the VIP list. Probably closer to the middle.

Last month there were 6 names. This month there are 6 names so far

Anyways, yeah I got blue this time. Karma does good justice afterall First time this month that I got something other than Green.

I can't eat anything till then. Time to get as much sleep as possible.

I keep meaning to post more the past few days but work and personal life stuff has kept me from doing so. Hopefully I can try to catch back up over the weekend....we shall see

I think there should definitely be a cut of for the 30+ word jersey and biggest post jersey.... like an hour before the day ends... some people are cheating and waiting til the last second, whcih, in my opinion, is just not right nor professional.

At least i moved up from fifth to fourth in overall rankings though.

thing1 : Think about it, that wouldn't work. If the cut off was 11 PM central time than people would make their posts at 10:59 PM instead of 11:59 PM.
