I vote a 10, since there are many characters to play as, and exploring 32 levels with different characters to find the princess, but how does the princess know who saves her? For example with mega man: *kills bowser* Megaman: Yes! *saves princess*
Princess: Thank you, megaman!
Megaman: Do you know where dr. wily is?
Princess: *ignores him* Your quest is over.
Megaman: What quest? Where's Dr. wily?
*credits scroll*
Funny thing I gotta say, really funny joke of megaman's ending!

well...the newer version just doesn't seem as responsive and it takes like 30 seconds for sound effects to happen as in i shoot with dr.wiley 30 second later i just start to hear the gun fire sound :/

That's odd, when I play, the SFX plays as soon as I shoot. It doesn't happen to me at all. It maybe because of the comp speed, I don't know. Check out my super Mario bros 1 NES walkthrough, from post to post. So the sfx delay is why you gave this a 6? I'm fine with a 6, but 3 or lower, I'll need a explation.

I had  played it back in 2010 its not a bad game to play.During that the time there was only 6 characters available. I haven't bother beating the game yet.I forgot all about the endings I thought its the same ending.I now know there's 2 more characters added as Ryu and Blaster Master. But i haven't played it in awhile since i had been playing Plug in games on here.so I don't know the other 2 new characters are

It's not a bad game, the endings are funny!

OH I guest I had miscounted them so they haven't added any new characters in i just forgot to include my character Simon Belmont in .The Link sprite just won't do for the game he's way to small and so is his sword it could at least be the same sprite in Link 2 :The adventures of link he's bigger and his sword is more complex to attack from high enemies and low ones one.Plus he have a jumping sprite.The game didn't even have a jumping mechanism  since  the game is a topdown adventure in The Legend of Zelda. I hate the hacker for putting that one in.So he's my worse character to choose from.

death_nation : I wouldn't say he's the worst, I use him in the underground levels since his sword can uncover anything that although megaman could reach, other characters wouldn't be able to reach. When I hit world 8, I use Sophia III with infinte time to be able to weave around the levels.
You're right with link being bigger and having a jumping animation, but his sword which looks like broken glass has 1 downside, it's hard to attack.
I saw the 2.0 trailer on explodingrabbit, there are newcomers, the main one is... Ready for this?
WEEGEE! Yes, luigi makes a new come in the 2.0 version. The graphics can be switched to many different types, SNES, SMB3, Original GB, and more.
By the way, the walkthrough isn't a Hudson soft game, Disney, or even the company that made mystery quest. *shivers*

Stevie 764 : Luigi is no one special he's just created for a second player to use as on the old Mario Bros .They should at least made him playable by changing Mario's skin color.He also never had his own storylines in game only in Luigi Mansion What a lousy waste to input him in on Super Mario Crossover .And you already told people to watch your Walkthrough on this Thread but I don't see that message anywhere.And hey I enjoyed playing  Mystery Quest on the NES  too bad a friend of mine never gave it back to me .But oh well that was way to long ago.

death_nation : About my walkthrough thread, it says that I cancelled it because I changed, I don't know which threads I posted the walkthrough, but I did make a half minor half major mistake of a thread. Mystery quest is a really almost unbeatable game because such messed up programming, you only have 1 life, and there are many ways to die (in which Hao is crying, EVEN UNDERWATER!), however, there's only 2 Game Over sequences, the first one:
HAO CAN'T SWIM
GAME OVER
the most stupidest text in a nes not hacked game in history, and the second one, I don't know if this is the exact words tough:
OUT OF HEALTH
GAME OVER
how come hao always cries when you die? So annoying!
Hao even cries underwater, How can she cry underwater? As soon as she hits the water and goes under, she should drown instead of cry!
I couldn't even beat the first dungeon, even my parents, MY PARENTS couldn't even beat the first dungeon!

Stevie 764 : OH well i never had any difficulty with that game I had use a cheating device called Game Genie to beat through all of the levels:b but i gave up on castle 3 I had gotten lost in it .

Super Mario Crossover it's simply a genial game! If you like Mario rip-offs flash games you should try also Mario rampage. Although IMHO the best character in SM Crossover is Bill Rizer from Contra...

I rate it a perfect 10 because it's a Mario flash game like no other. I liked playing as Megaman even though I don't play Megaman. Plus, back when I played that game, I couldn't play NES games because I needed something else for it (and that was WAAAAAAAAAY before I joined vizzed and got the RGR plugin). I thought it was really nice being able to play an NES game without having to need an NES emulator.
