Say I have two different tabs up with two different forums up, and what I meant to post on one forum, I accidentally posted on another. I don't see a way to delete my own thread besides re-typing it as something else to try to avoid anymore embarrassment before anyone notices enough to want to comment and add to the embarrassment. How can we delete our own thread?

It's not possible on this site, best you can do is edit out what was posted and edit the title to "Close Thread" and a mod will see it.

I can go ahead and trash this, we don't delete threads unless under rare circumstances, deleting the thread will leave 'holes' in the database, I believe.
