That is exactly why I usually don't end up voting. If there are no candidates/parties with a policy that I agree with or is similar to what I want for my country than why would I vote for them?  I think it makes me a great citizen

Get a basket of 44 eggs (each egg represents a president). Now throw them at a wall. If that is not enough of a mess for you go to the voting booth and grab another egg to throw at wall. Who is going to clean the mess up? YOU ARE! Stop voting, stop paying taxes, stop enlisting in military and get a clue.

JigSaw : how exactly are those first 2 going to help, if you do #1 you have no say and make it easier for the fanatical loyalists to get there twisted choice in, and #2 means that the country will just keel over.
If people want change they need to quit there b*itch*ng and get out there.
Oh im so busy, oh i cant be bothered, oh it'll never work. Change dosent fail because the men at the top are too powerfull, it fails because those under them have already taken the mentality its doomed to fail.
Protest, refuse to pay part of your tax proportional to military expenditure, overwhelm the system by refusing to vote for one of the two domineering parties, vote for parties that actualy have reasonable agendas instead of warmongering uneducated rednecks like bush.
Yeh itl take ages and itl be an arduous process but those who dont bother, and dont vote, have no right to complain about those in power, in not oposing them you've aided there ascension.
