Welcome to the Project Zomboid forums.

This will be a forum to discuss the zombie survival game by the same name. If you've never played the game before, you can download the demo for free by going here.

In these forums anyone can feel free to post threads about zombies or their favorite zombie games. Anyone can also feel free to post any screenshots of their games that they want to share (make sure to upload them here first). As long as it's related to zombies, it'll be allowed to stay up.

There will also be a lot of new info about the game Project Zomboid since it is currently only in a pre-alpha state right now. That means there will constantly be new features being worked on and eventually added into the game. I will regularly post threads with new information about the game as it is released by the developers.

I didn't know there was such a game, but I was extremely excited to see a forum dedicated to Zombies, and then disappointed that it was related to a game... Can we post general zombie stuff in this forum, too?

Lazlo Falconi : I'm kinda hesitant to say yes. Let me talk to David to see what he has to say. If I can, I'll open another forum. because this one is relatively new, I doubt he'll let me open another one. If that's the case, I'll pay to add a description so that it's clear that this forum will be about zombies; posting about the game will then be allowed too, but not the only purpose.

Oh, good. I am glad that we can talk just about zombies here too. I tend to stay away from downloading games even if they are free and a lot of people have done it with no problems. I download things from online because the more you do it, the slower your computer gets, and the less time it will live. That is why my laptop is about 3 years old and runs just as well as it did when I bought it. So since I won't be downloading the game, I didn't plan to post here. I'll look into your forum later for topics that catch my interest.

Glad to see that at least a few people are interested in the forum after expanding the topic. Anyway, I've never been much of a zombie expert so my posts won't be very creative. Mostly just the usual conversations about zombies or I'll ask people for their opinions of games or movies that have zombies in them.

Hopefully you guys either enjoy those kinds of conversations or are infinitely more creative than I am.

And rcarter2 : While I will say that you're missing out on an incredible game, I can't say that I blame you for wanting to be safe.
