Anyways, PS3 is alright, but 360 has alot of games that are more fun.

Plus, my cousins PS3 caught on fire when we were playing it...
I've looked down on them every since.

i like the xbox better. i dont own a ps3 but my friend does and it has to update and download so much. like wen getting a new game, u cant just put it in and play, u have to wait till it installs and downloads things. kind of annoying wen u just want to play.

I would have to say the PS3 is better and I think most people who do own them both will agree. For some reason and I have no idea why. If you own both you like the PS3 more but if you just own the Xbox then you swear its better.

The PS3 has better graphics and runs a lot smoother. The console does not heat up as much as my 360 does. And I love how the PS3 downloads the game content up front to prevent loading time.

More of the games I like are made for the PS3 and if they make the game for both consoles I always get it for the PS3.

And you cant beat PS3's free online play.

Xbox went with HD dvd and Sony went with Bluray. Turns out Blueray was better and came out on top but like its been said already, you cant hold that over Xbox, it could have gone the other way.

People who have played games like Metal Gear 4 and Uncharted fall in love with playstation.

The problem is that more people own xboxes and so people will be biased to that end.
I only own a PS3 and a wii, but I'll still say the PS3 is better than the xbox because of what I know about it, despite not knowing much about the xbox.
I'm sure that it would work the same way for xbox owners.

Xbox 360 just had better games and thats all there is to it.

I dont think the 360 is all that good it always confuses me and is to quick

I think that the Xbox has a clear advantage based on hardware but playstation has the upperhand of games but if your more of a hardcore gamer xbox is the way to go

OK all im say is:
The guyz that made the cell backstabbed sony and sold the same tech to microsoft, so microsoft made the Xbox360 in a rush. Thats why theres so many problems with the console.

PS3 Xbox360

Ps3 pads reacharge, Xbox360 pads have batteries.

In xbox360, online needs you to pay 40-60 quid (Im from The UK) For EACH profile!

The Xbox360 in my opinion looks like a suitcase.

you have to pay for pad bateries, a hardrive (depending on what model), online for each person and a pad charger!
So if you add it all up, its just over the amount for a PS3 and theres the yearly online charge so you get more for your money when you get an PS3.
Finally, the PS3 look better

Both videogame systems are expensive and cool.So it's a tie to me!

Actually it's been proven that the PS3 has better graphics. The PS3 online is free and actually is decent.

there are too MANY games that are all about online. Try playing shadowrun without xbox live (no fun right).

xbox 360 has more downloadble stuff for games
like extra sonic unleashed levels.

while the PS3 likes to take some of the xbox 360 games and call itself a "game" system.

More like a GIANT DVD system.

Didowe, the 360 is a hardware failure. And Blu-Ray is used because it makes movies finer and crisper.

And Shadowrun was mostly crap because nearly 95 percent of the time online the computer players would pwn your ass due to keyboard and mouse.

I was refering to how most of the XBOX 360 games have a weak single player

But that's the only game I know where everything is online with no single player AT all

and the newer 360 don't really have hardware failures

the black one don't have them . (it MIGHT happen but very rare nowadays)

Well, now that Sony is getting the rights to publish more and more former Xbox 360 "Exclusives" it is becoming a far better gaming system.
Hell, there are even rumors of Halo coming to the PS3.
I bet those 360 fans didn't see that one coming.
But even ignoring the games that are no longer 360 only, every worthwhile game on the 360 is on either the PS3 or the PC as well.

Edit: I'll make that nearly every worthwhile game on the 360, there is maybe 1 or two games that are good that are truely 360 only (And no, I'm not talking about any Halo games).

wii beats both due to their ONLY ON games

and darkhyren mostly its the downloadble contnet that make the xbox 360 game kinda "Only on"

plus halo games are fun but overrated

and there are some fun but underrated on the xbox 360 (one is xbox 360 version of sonic unleashed without moon and sun coins)

Wii also has the biggest shovelware, Mario and Zelda are just as overated as Halo.

I don't care for all this "downloadable content" rubbish, it's just lazy devs trying to fix their rushed broken games.
The Wii has little to no appeal to me, primarily due to the Wii remote.
I would much rather hold a real controller any day and play that way.

One thing that hasn't been looked at here.
Out of the three current gen consoles the PS3 is the only one that hasn't been heavily pirated.
So from a strictly emulation standpoint the Wii and 360 are better because they are easy to play pirated games on.
But I suppose with the PS3 you at least know that you are supporting a quality peice of hardware with stable secure software to back it up.

in hardware ps3 beats xbox 360, but in games i would say xbox 360 over ps3
