I checked into it. His longest post was a story that was over 3000 words long, but it's possible copy pasta.

I don't really know how to check the legitimacy of his post, but here it is

legacyme3 : Yeah I actually just skimmed through his posts just a few minutes ago and came across that post. It doesn't seem to be copied from anywhere so it seems legit. There are no rules against posting stories and it does add content to the site which means more keywords for search engines to see which also means more traffic it drives to the site.

If posting stories weren't allowed to count towards jersey's, I would suddenly do terribly. Everything I friggin' post is a story, it seems. (even when posting my ten favourite bands, I add my personal history to pretty much each one)

Out of curiosity, Davideo.... What's the absolute max character limit allowed per post?

Argus Swift : I'm not really sure, I don't think that limit has ever been hit, in fact there might not even be a limit. However, at some point it would cause the database to get really slow, I'm not sure at what point that would happen but to be safe, a rule of thumb might be that posts should be less than 20,000 words.

legacyme3 : It's not a published book, I've since gotten a lot better at writing from when I finished it, and I plan to do nothing with it except show it off.

The rewrite, however, is well in progress, and is being posted on this very forum.

.....If people would actually reply to the bloody story, since it's physically impossible to double post and I don't want to hugely bog down the servers and database with gigantic freaking posts.

Uh........ The closest is a couple of outdated chapters (about 1/35th of the total product) on my ancient and unused DeviantArt account. I wouldn't really count that, personally, since the version I'd post has been updated slightly and, well, has chapters. I don't typically write with chapters.
