I gotta say that even though Leggy and Someone70 have a commanding lead over me in the Yellow Jersey for the month, I am still very surprised that I am in the top 5 for that one. My posting has been down a lot. Granted a big reason for that is because I am staying out of the Crazy House Forums because I want to make sure most of my posts are at least close to 80 words, so I don't post as many times as I usually do. Haha, maybe I should start making reviews on Microsoft Word instead of submitting them right away. Just stockpile on a bunch, and submit 2 a day for a month Not realistic though because just one review takes me forever, let alone hoarding up to 60 just for Tour de Vizzed.

rcarter2 : That's actually a great plan. Once this Tour ends, I may just do something like that. I was actually thinking about making a huge post for the science forum talking about the evolution of stars... But I don't think anyone would read it!

How interesting. It is one thing to see our moderators (leggy, carter, someone) fight for the victory, but I am surprised to see the site staff (Dark, laian) duking it out as well.

Darn it! I missed the Yellow Jersey by 49 words! I can't believe this, I was in the lead all day and then vizwiz comes out of nowhere to pass me up at the last second! At least I won the Blue Jersey, though, and racked up a ton of points... Here's to tomorrow being an awesome day!

Anyways, after posting a review, I saw I had a shot at the yellow jersey, so I went for it. Barely got it to. It was fun competing though.

Meh, haven't won a jersey in a couple days. Just keeping that lead.

Kinda sad vizwiz stole my red jersey though, I usually don't make posts that long.

I think I'm gonna take a break from excessive posting, until there are more interesting things to post in, that I haven't already.

Lazlo Falconi mentioned the jerseys before I joined, and I kind of forgot about them. Oh well. I'll just keep posting casually and see how it goes.

I'm reluctant to make or accept excuses to post willy nilly; at another forum I frequent, there's this chick that just spouts nonsense in every single thread to up her post count (even though there is absolutely no reward or motivation to do so), ESPECIALLY in threads and conversations that she doesn't care about. I really don't want to be that person, hah.

KG : Hold on Rage Kage. We're not spazzing it up here. Getting a jersey isn't about going out of your way to post more often, nor is it about posting in threads you wouldn't have posted in otherwise. It's mostly about increasing the word count in your posts--At least for the two jerseys that really matter, yellow and red. It's about making posts of a higher quality.

Lazlo Falconi : Sorry pal, I didn't mean to imply that you guys were just running your mouths for jerseys. I guess my first impression was just... well you know how much I hate that chick, haha. Anyway I guess it'll just inspire me to jump into more categories I wouldn't usually lurk. =)

Darkpower508 : If you wish to win the Red Jersey, just wait to post a review until about 11:50 server time, then pad it out with a few extra words until it has about 20 more than the next highest count post. Then there will be no time for someone to usurp you!

Lazlo Falconi : This could be more complex to me than any other member taking part, as I live in the UK, living roughly six hours ahead. So I would have to wake up around 5:50 AM in my time. Top that on top of the fact that the room with the computer in is right next to my Mums bedroom and there you have it. She wouldn't want me using the computer so early in the morning. Anyway, thanks for the tip =P

Perhaps you should just take a few days, write up some quality reviews (or find something to rant on?), and post them all on the same day! That's how I'd do it if I were feeling particularly crafty.
