Ah, hello there. It’s nice to have company. It can get terribly lonely here. I normally talk to myself to pass the time. I guess you want to know what happened that fateful night. I remember it as if it were yesterday, maybe because it accurately was yesterday, but still…..*turns to the window and looks out it*

I
was standing outside the manor of the Vizzed Staff, its windows shining light from it’s chandlers in the darkening skies of winter. I decided to walk in, as it looked like it would rain soon. I could see I wasn’t the first one there.

T
he dinner started out rather bland conversation-wise, but with a rather interesting starter of smoked salmon and cream cheese. I could see as I ate that the knife was from a different company than before. As the main course was served, Someone70 and Leggy were having some banter, although I could not eavesdrop enough to know what they were arguing about. Someone70 always seems to over-react her actions, as if she were a real anime character. I also saw laian and was surprised at how he was ignoring Redrunelord, and not making is fork disappear or something, just like my last rolo…last time I volunteer for his magic tricks that involves something of mine. I decided to ask epicpokenerd what games system was superior: The NES, or the Super Nintendo.

T
hroughout the evening, we discussed greatly the game selection, music, graphics, different controls, replay value and the charm that the systems had on gamers. Although I rooted for the NES, he insisted that the Super Nintendo was superior. I had a feeling that we would never get to a conclusion, due to his persistence. The discussion was cut short as he had to leave early to visit his sister in the hospital, which annoyed me, as if he were doing it to cease the conversation. He left as the rain grew heavier and more menacing.

As the evening drew to a close, we departed back to our houses, or to those who lived in the manor returned to their quarters. I had one last episode of that annoying Kirby Animation. If I finish that off, I might feel purified and freed from its nature of throwing plot-devices everywhere. I won’t sleep well tonight...

Things got worse as I woke up from a particularly fun dream of beating King Dedede up, as I heard the presents were stolen from the vault. This meant two things; either they needed my help to solve this crime (which they seemed to always avoid when these kinds of things happen), or I am a suspect. I arrived at the vault, and true to their word, the presents were stolen.

Well, t
here you have it *turns from the window*, are there any more questions you would like to ask me regarding this Christmas thievery?

i see, as yet, my only questions is as to the starter, there is no confusing cream cheese and turnip, and yet you and someone have contrasting statements on that one!im watching you....
and at thi dinner didnt leggy end up throwing his food at someone causing her to storm off?if so when did she return?
having read reds statement it appears you and pokenerd got quite heated in your console debate (raises eyebrow)

thenumberone : Good day sir...I suspect you are from the BSA? Please have a drink, and we can have a friendly conversation.

Darkpower508 : You requested some music for your work...terribly sorry that it is late but it should be sufficient.

I believe Darkpower508 himself should answer the question laid out by thenumberone, wouldn't you agree?
I also would like to request further details of the occurences of last night, after the meal.
Thank you.

thenumberone : I do believe that the main course was indeed the turnip soup, although the turnips were terribly cut, in fact they weren't cut at all. One could say it more more like a turnip salad more than anything. Did you say that there was a food fight? It's amazing what you don't hear or see when your in such a heated discussion. As for when Someone70 left the room, I heard some yelling (and flailing of arms, as it would seem), about presents, but I was unable to catch that what she said. I think she might have wanted to burn them, but I'm not too sure.

Arctic Wolf (SS82) : You want to know more of what happened after the dinner party? I am afraid I have told you pretty much everything. When I got home, I watched the last episode of that irritating Kirby Animation, after which I stated, to myself, how the whole thing was a mish-mash of unnecessary plot devices and idiotic statements. I then must have dosed off, having a particularly pleasant dream about the many things I could do to King Dedede, I was sure I would never look at him in the same light. *ahem, after that*

Oh, sorry, I tend to ramble, that's how it happened last night, more or less. After which I was woken up by Redrunelord to have told me the presents were missing. I got there as soon as I could. Is there anything else you would like to know?

Redrunelord: About time, lets hope it's not jazz or R&B/Rap. Although jazz sets the mood lightly, I'm not sure it's appropriate for this given the circumstances.

One thing, actually. Did you see anything different or odd when you saw the crime scene?

Arctic Wolf (SS82) : I saw a tuning fork that was broken out of shape and the lock to the vault was forced open, apart from the electronic locks, which had the code used on them, but I was one of the last to find this clue, in which everyone was already aware of it. The last one to arrive at the scene was epicpokenerd. I saw Someone70 was a little sad, given the chubi eyes and mouth she was pulling. That is all I can remember.

Pardon my inquisitiveness, but do you happen to know if epicpokenerd was a guest at the mansion that night? If so, did you know where he slept?

One more question of relevance; Iaian does magic tricks as you have mentioned. What sorts of tricks have you seen him do so far, or heard him say he can do?

Greymantle : epicpokenerd does not live in the manor. He came to the dinner party, but left early to go visit his sister in the hospital. As for laian, he normally makes things disappear, and then makes them come out of your ear. Once, he wanted an item to do a trick on, and I volunteered my last rolo. He made it disappear, but it never came back. From that day on, I wouldn't give anything to him to borrow. He claims it was an accident, but I think he was a little peckish, if you get my drift, so to say. He does more advanced magic, such as levitating, making things move with his mind, and turning a orange into an apple. He won't show all of what he can do, though. Apparently he's got some "big show" in Las Vagus sometime after Christmas, and he wants to keep it secret until then.

Yes, I see what you mean. I had asked him earlier today what sort of tricks he can do and he only replied "card tricks'. Seems he is hiding more then he lets on. Like if he could fly into Red's room and the Library and steal a tuning fork and ink. He could most certainly "hide" presents until he got to his act to add a finishing touch for fame. I am questioning the elf woman about her visitors that day, hopefully his name turns up.

Question is: Can he hypnotize a person to steal the password to the safe I wonder? Or perhaps the code is somewhere in Redrunelord's room and he managed to find it.

Greymantle : He already knew the code, why would he need to steal it off someone else? Besides, he can't hypnotize anyone, and even if he did, he wouldn't be the sort of person to ruin a holiday. Then again, there was that incident with the rolo, but laian says I'm over reacting about that. He also says I exaggerates his abilities.

Ah you're saying since he is a member of the Staff even though he doesn't regularly live there that he knew the code in advance and didn't need to steal it.

So that leaves his whereabouts that evening and whether or not he managed to find a tuning fork and an inkwell. Thank you for that reminder.

Do you know of anyone else that knows what sorts of magic tricks he can perform?

Greymantle : To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure I know anymore....I mean when we.... *ahem*, well, if he could get the presents from the vault, why not do it when it is closed? Why open it then steal is he could make them disappear from within? It would make more sense to steal them without opening the vault, thus making it seem like nothing happened at all. It doesn't make sense that way, as the lock seemed forced open by the tuning fork, due to the condition of the fork. The tuning fork seems to belong to redrunelord, but the ink....
I'll leave this for you to ponder over and see if you have any insights. If you come up with anything, please do let the others know on the main thread.

Do you happen to know who epicpokenerd's sister is? I would like to interrogate her, if it is possible in her current condition.

Arctic Wolf (SS82) : I've never met her. I only started hearing about here when she fell terribly ill. Yes, the moment he heard about it, he went there every night to say good night to her. I felt it was a family matter, so I didn't get involved. I should think she isn't in fit state to talk long conversations, little-own an interrogation. Still, I would ask epicpokenerd, but he might take it as an offense.

I suspect he didn't steal them from within, but I will look further into this matter. Thank you for your assistance, I have all the questions answered from you that I wanted. Should things change tomorrow, I hope you can find the time to talk to me again.

Hm, i see 2 holes in your story already...

As thenumberone says, your interpretation of the diner starter contradicts some of the other supspects'...

I read in Someone70's testimony that the starter was a sort of salad...

In other testimonies suspects say that some portion of the dinner consisted of turnips...
Was the starter really smoked salmon and cheese?
Was there a sort of "turnip" salad there? Where you clearly paying attention to what you were eating? or is it all a big fib???

ALSO, my second objection is to what you said about epicpokenerd!...

You say he left early to see his sister....In legacy's testimony, he says that epicpokenerd! was one of the few people that stayed after everyone else left the party...SO, did epicpokenerd! REALLY leave early? and if he did, what time did he leave and did you see him return to the mansion later on that night?

yoshpit222 : I am almost certain that the starter was a nice mix of cheese and smoked salmon, and the main course was some turnip based meal. Weather it was a "salad" or not is debatable.

As for when epicpokenerd left, the discussion was cut short upon his departure, and that was in the heat of the argument. I couldn't forget how it ended if I wanted to. He was the first to leave the manor, around 7:00 pm, and only returning when he heard about the presents.
