For a long time now I have been told that this game is the hardest, this game is the hardest, and so on. Well in my eyes, we as gamers have encounter these problems...the problem of the hardest game we have played. This is opened to all people and is an easy question to answer for those who are interested. If you love to play a game, but you either got lost, or couldn't beat a level or boss, or something to the nature.

An example would be this. Quest 64, a favorite game of mine, was a hard game due to the bosses and the complications of the games progression. 

Remember, this is very opinionated question. Don't say to others that this is stupid for the other people and don't call people out on a opinion on a hard game in their eyes. Otherwise, I will talk to staff and report flaming of other players, and give them a screen shot and have you banned. Remember that.

I'd say...

Demon's Souls or whatever it was called. That game is insanely hard :|

My worst nightmare... Deathtrap Dungeon released on PSX and PC!!!
I never beat this game, it's one of the hardest games I've ever played and probably one of the hardest games in the history of the videogame

Well, I would say that Ghosts and Goblins (NES) is the first that comes to my mind. As for modern games, Gotta stick with Ninja Gaiden for Xbox on Master Ninja difficulty.

I Want To Be the Guy for the PC. It's free to play; just Google it. It's about as unfair as fair gets in a platformer.

Another game would be the whole Touhou series. It's hard to beat even the easiest level without practice.

Also, try playing Duke Nukem 3D on "D***, I'm Good" difficulty. It isn't remotely fair. The enemies re-spawn after 10-15 seconds, so it is ridiculously easy to run out of ammunition. A 1st person shooter where enemies NEVER stop coming at you in endless supply is insane.

You are stuck in the first level, I stopped when I reached the last level, an insane battle royal of bosses before the final boss without any life recovery. Obviously insane and impossible unless you cheat
