I'm a big fan of Persona. My favorite of the "new" series (modern versions) is Persona 5, followed by 3, and then 4. I've already pre-ordered the Royal's special edition (and yes, I own the base game's special edition too because I'm an idiot with too much expendable income).

The characters make the anime, but the story telling is also really unique and well told.

My favorite character in the series is Izaya Orihara (as you can see in my profile picture). If you haven't seen the series, I won't spoil "why" he is my favorite. If you have, you already know.

If you had to change your legal name, what would you choose?
Secondarily, what would you pick if it was stipulated that the name had to be ludicrous sounding?

On the whole, it's a great anime.

The first season is a master class in animation quality, story telling, and character development. If nothing else, you must absolutely watch the first season to its conclusion.

The second season is... fun, but lacks a lot of the same things that make the first season so excellent. It's still worth a watch. It's just not perfection like the first season.

I learned earlier today that you work in the medical field so I was curious which medical field it is that you work in?

I'm an ophthalmic technician.

My duties include taking medical history, reviewing medications, allergies, taking vision, doing a pressure check, refracting the patient (essentially giving them glasses since most of the time, the doctors don't touch our numbers), dilating, etc...

There's other small stuff, but I'm basically an eye doctor's assistant.

Much like geeogree, I am also bumping this thread to the new posts page, since it is the VCS and I am an egotist who wants attention.

I've only ever been on one roller coaster. Rather than tell you if I love or hated it, I will share this picture, and you can tell me what you think.



My favorite movie is still Inception, probably. I like any movie that deals with complex thoughts, such as the ones that Christopher Nolan often invokes in his films.

I would take a yacht, a ton of gas, and a compass, and I would get the f*** off the island, of course.

I collect video games primarily (I own over 1000 on Steam, over 1000 total on PS4/PS3, a little over 100 on Switch, and several hundred other "older" games on other consoles), but I've also gotten in the habit of collecting books about baseball and baseball players.

Can you tell me your vizzed story? How you went from a noob to the zebra you are today?

I could, but the problem is that it simply would take too long to make it a full retelling. So instead, you'll get the abridged version.

When I was in my first go around in college, I was looking for something to do, and I found a creepypasta about Pokemon Black. The very concept of a game like that was cool, so I went to the internet to see if a rom hack that was like that existed. I found a different Pokemon Black on Vizzed, but I enjoyed it enough that I signed up and played a few more games.

Eventually, I got bored just playing games, and decided to trek into the forums. I posted a few times, had fun, but was still very much a guppy in a shark tank. This was back when the site was still very active. I would post 10 times in a day and finish like 10th in the VCS, if that.

After a month or so of the same old, same old, I logged into a chat room, which is where the birth of Leggy truly began. Back then, the chat rooms were filled with all kinds of characters (many of which are people you can see on my reverse friends list - Nksor aka the_casualty, Dragon_master, Zamiel, big fat cat, Annette, Noelia, geeogree, DarkHyren, etc... basically all the cool people and big fat cat). I got close to a good deal of them. One of the users I got close to was LYNDZ88, who liked attaching -y suffixes to everyone's names. IE - Zamiel became Zammy, you get the idea.

She decided to christen me as Leggy. Up to this point I was just legacy. Once I started going by the nickname Leggy, everybody started to know who I was, and my star rocketed like crazy. I was involved in almost every conversation, posted a lot, and got close to several staff members, one of which was DarkHyren.

Now DH and I have a colorful past, and I'm not going to go into all of it out of respect for him and his privacy. But eventually, we had a big falling out, he left for a long time, a rumor spread that I killed him or something, it was not a fun time to be me. I started to go crazy, I got demoted from being a local moderator, and it was the first big speedbump in my being a member of the community.

Fast-forward like 6 months. I became a member of the site staff because I wanted to prove I could still be useful to the site, and because I missed having things to do. I was immensely successful in this role, and David took notice. He promoted me to local moderator again, and eventually I would become a global moderator as well.

Around the same time, I had gotten even closer to my OG pals: Nksor, big fat cat, Zamiel, etc, and we broke off into another group, on an IRC channel. Nksor and I tossed around the idea of our own board, since we were having problems with how things were being done on Vizzed. Keep in mind at this time both he and I were among the top 10 most active members on the site, and we were both rocketing up the memberlist as a result.

So we created a few iterations of a forum which would be known as Inane Cult Gamer. It was very popular once we invited all our buds over. For a long time, it actually rivaled Vizzed in post activity. It got to the point where geeogree joined to keep an eye on us (I can't show proof of this, but it was in a restricted forum where David asked geeo to keep an eye on us).

We had a lot of fun, and a lot of laughs, and our group came to be revered as a huge part of Vizzed's activity. Largely because when we migrated the impact was felt. I still came by to post, but it was not nearly as often (and keep in mind, that year, I made over 9000 posts, which I'm pretty sure is a record, and if it's not, it's damn close).

All good things come to an end, though. We got hacked by Jul (another forum we were associated with) members. Admittedly we deserved it because we stole code apparently (I had nothing to do with it, so I'm not sure exactly). The forum began to splinter off and die, a little. Activity decreased heavily, and I started to spend more time back on Vizzed. I created an alternate account named Bengie to keep an eye on my friends at ICG, but I moved all my primary focus back here.

At this point in time I was a global for Vizzed, and my alternate account, Bengie, became a local moderator on ICG. They still had no idea it was me.

I reported things to David, got his trust, and eventually, became the head global of the site, a position I would maintain for over a year. David deferred to me on almost all forum matters, and hirings, and people basically bowed at my feet because I was kind of running things during a time when the site was literally the most active it had ever been, or ever would be. Word of mouth spread, and I became idolized or feared by a good amount of people. The ones who didn't fall into either category ended up being ignored or my best friends. What made someone fall into the ignored group? By being f***ing annoying. I liked people who didn't blow me religiously, but if they sucked as people I still didn't want them around.

Fast forward a couple years, and I'm done being a global. A lot of s*** happens that I'm not getting into, but I get bored of it all, and want to step down. I do it for a couple weeks, to see how things would run, wasn't pleased, came back, insisted that we hire two new globals I trusted, and fire one I didn't. Got my way.

Soon after, I officially step down, having won every possible award including Member of the Year, Best Posts, Best Threads, Most Creative, Best Staff, Most Famous, and Best Female in the awards ceremonies for the years I was a global. I'd accomplished everything, and my legacy spoke for itself. I walked away, and stopped being an active poster.

Since then, it's kind of just been stagnation. I haven't really done anything to improve or worsen my reputation, far as I can tell, and at this point, I'm just another Vizzed Elite, who once had way too much power, and way too much time on my hands.

Like I said, this is the abridged version, and I left a TON of details out. I could write a book about all the things I did here, like the one time I caught a sexual predator in a sting operation. That was fun.

In terms of gaming, which do you feel will get a company more money: Making a game that caters to everyone, or making a genuinely good game with depth, even at the expense of alienating some folk.
