legacyme3 : I have a total of 19,490 PMs in my inbox. The number would be higher but I've moved a lot of PMs that the Moderators of the RGR Staff could answer into their inboxes.

I'm actually surprised that you have that many.

awesomeguy279 : I don't have a real job outside of vizzed. Due to how many hours I have to invest into keeping this site up, there's no way I could ever hold a real job. I do sometimes buy and sell stuff on ebay or amazon to make money when I'm in need of it. Actually sometime soon I plan to sell a ton of stuff on Ebay to have get money for taxes, I've got barely anything saved up for taxes so I'm going to have to come up with a lot of money fast.

pokemon x : I didn't have any complications.

supercool22 : I sometimes feel like I'm on vizzed 24/7, I feel like I have more memories of being on vizzed than not being on vizzed lol.

TheFadedWarrior : It is a secret.

Bintsy : Most of my Notifications aren't pointless so it's hard for me to come up with a number on that. Lately I've only been averaging a few pointless PMs a day.

sharingan12 : You mean shiny Pokemon? I'm not sure how Vizzed would incorporate something like that.

Bintsy : When it comes to fixing stuff, a lot of the time is invested into figuring out what's causing the problem that needs to be fixed. I'd say like 50% of the time is invested into figuring out the problem, 25% of the time is investing into coming up with a solution and another 25% is invested into coding the solution.

What was the most complicating feature to code? That's a very good question and it might take me sometime to think about. Actually I can't really think of a specific feature so I'll list a few that were tough:

The Tour de Vizzed was a pretty complicating feature to create because I made it so that each Jersey list is calculated based on 1 query so the queries are very complicating queries. I had to do some studying on MySQL queries in order to achieve those.

The batch price guide feature that I made here was pretty tough to create.

Not necessarily a feature but some of the optimizing I've done to the site was pretty difficult to pull off. I've invested many hours into researching and figuring out ways to speed up the site and to reduce strain on the vizzed servers.

Some of the PHP and Javascript coding I've had to do for the RGR Plugin has been pretty difficult. The RGR Plugin of course wasn't coded in PHP but it uses a lot of PHP for the various things that it does. For example, the Play game window is a page coded in PHP and Javascript and that page has to communicate with the RGR Plugin. Also, other "behind the scenes" pages include screenshot handling, save state handling, file handling and more. I can't take credit for all of that coding though because Tom has done a lot of work on the PHP and Javascript that communicate with the RGR Plugin.

A feature I started working on years ago but never finished was a new Item Shop. Now that feature was definitely a tough feature to work on and maybe even one of the reasons I got side tracked and never got back into working on it. Basically the new item shop was going to be waaaay better than the current and it was going to be loaded with features. I'll eventually release a new item shop, whether I recreate it again or continue working on the one I started I'm not sure but we'll eventually see a new item shop. The current item shop sucks, it actually wasn't a feature I made and I've been wanting to replace it for a very long time.

The RGR search engine is probably one of the biggest coding tasks I've had. I've been working on it on and off for years now and not only does it have some advanced PHP but it has some advanced MySQL queries as well. It's extremely difficult to offer great results and at the same time prevent strain from being placed on the site. It's also difficult giving users many ways to find games they're looking for without putting extra strain on the site. If someone knows how to use the RGR search engine properly (a lot of people don't), I'm convinced it's one of the best game searching engines of any site because with it, you can find almost any game you might be searching for. For example, lets say you remember playing a game when you were younger but you don't remember what it was called, if search by 'Advanced' and type in 1 thing that the game you're trying to find contains (or you can type in more than 1 thing and it'll try to find a game that matches all of those terms) than the game will most likely come up in the results and since the results page have boxart, title screen and a screenshot of every game, that makes finding the game you're looking for very easy (plus you can narrow it down even further by system and/or genre).

Ok I think I've come up with an answer to your question. The hardest think to develop on the site is the site security. It's been something I've invested 100s of hours into over the past few years and I feel as though it's more advanced that the security system of 99% of websites on the internet. It catches potential hackers of the site and 99% of the time stops their attacks and also flags it, it stops most DDOS attacks and flags them as well and I've even got a log page that I created that lets me do pretty thorough research on investigating most problems on the site. Back when the site was down for nearly 2 months due to DDOS attacks, I made it my priority to spend 100s of hours studying and researching how to prevent DDOS attackers and hackers from affecting the site and I invested many more hours since than until now implementing various solutions to different problems.

Hi Davideo7,
What does it take to be on fire? I've seen posters not get it till 100+ posts, some at 80, and others when they are offline. Is it random?

EideticMemory : I know nothing about Archaeospheniscuses.

ZeldaFan97 : Probably the Halo series. Even though Final Fantasy 7 and Shenmue are 2 of my favorite games of all time, here's reasons why those series aren't my favorite series.

Final Fantasy isn't my favorite series because there's not enough Final Fantasy games I've played. I've only played like 7 Final Fantasy games and I've only beat 5. Plus, I'm not a big fan of the newer Final Fantasy games, I lost interest in the series after the Playstation days.

Shenmue would probably be my 2nd favorite series but it's not my all time favorite because of a few reasons. The first reason is because the story never concludes. Fans of the series, including myself, have been waiting for a 3rd installment in the series so that we can find out what happens with Ryo but we don't ever find out. The second reason is because it's only 2 games (currently anyway) so in order for it to be considered my favorite series, I think it'd have to have multiple games like Halo.

A few reasons why the Halo series is probably my favorite series of all time:

1. I've probably invested more hours into that series than any other series. I probably have 200+ hours invested into Halo 3, 200+ invested into Halo Reach, 100+ invested into Halo 4 and that's just multiplayer. Between all the modes of all the Halo games, I have probably invested 700+ hours into the series. There haven't been too many months where I've gone an entire months without playing a Halo game since I got into the series over 10 years ago and over the past 5 years, I probably haven't gone more than a week without playing a Halo game very many times.

2. The series has a lot of games and every single game in the series I love. I've also played and own every single game in the series. Even Halo Wars, which waas the first non FPS Halo game I really enjoy, even if I haven't beat it yet. And the latest Halo, Spartan Assault, is an awesome game which I've been addicted to and I plan to unlock every achivement in that game on every device it's available on (which is Windows Phone 8, Windows 8, Xbox One and soon Xbox 360).

3. My wife also loves the series. This is a big deal because a a portion of the time I've invested into the series has been with my wife. She's not into the online matchmaking but my wife and I have played through all of the campaigns of all the Halo games cooperatively (we even played through Halo 3 three times and Halo 3 ODST two times). We played the heck out of Firefight in both Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach, that's her favorite mode. Lastly, we use to play in Forge a lot in Halo 3 by goofing around and building levels.

4. Great storyline, great gameplay, great music, great graphics, great replay value and all of that practically applies to almost all of the games in the series. I'd rate all of the Halo games a very high rating (except maybe Halo Wars, I'd probably give that an 8). The Halo games have everything that make a game worthy of an almost perfect rating in my opinion.

I once heard of a midnight rule for the TDV somewhere in the old TDVs. Out of curiosity, does it still exist? if so, what is it?

Are you certain on the next generation console you are getting (or maybe you already have on) or are you still stuck between which one is the better out of the two?

When you first created the site and picked your username.. what made you decide to pick Davideo7 instead of the original name David? I find your name really unique but I figured there might be some story behind it.

Do you own the system of video gaming of the Nintendo Wii U? Considering the website of Vizzed appears to seem extremely popular, are you able to receive currency because of it?

Was coding a hard thing for you to learn to do when you first started doing it? Was it confusing at first or maybe you did a lot of research? I have been learning little things here and there but nothing compared to you.

Not so much of a serious question so I guess it doesn't really matter if you answer or not.But when playing Final Fantasy VII do you prefer doing the play scene with Cloud and Tifa or Aries play it the way it should be done or are you like me and just like to make them mad at you?
