I've looked for this, but the only threads I see are concerning a genre... (forum mods: if there's a thread for this, I was too lazy to go past the 2nd page).

What's your favorite movie?

Bloodsport. No matter how many times I watch it, it never gets old. Frank Dukes (sorta a legend; look him up) trained in the martial science of Ninjutsu. I've also trained in Ninjutsu for about 3 years. Well I switched to a different martial art after coming to a disagreement with the philosophy of Ninjutsu, but the training (minus the philosophy) still sticks with me, so I think it's an awesome movie.

I actually have a few. My favorite Christmas movie (as previously posted) is definitely Gremlins. The other ones are good, but hey just don't have enough action. Or monsters. Anyway, my favorite movie in a series is probably Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, being my first Godzilla movie and in my opinion the most entertaining. And my two favorite standalone films (not in a series) are UHF- Weird Al making a movie? You just can't go wrong!- and Trollhunter. It's a 'mockumentary' as Wikipedia calls it about a potential bear poacher who turns out to hunt trolls, all from the perspective of some students from the local university.

My favorite movie of all time is one you guys probably haven't even heard of unless you remember it being mentioned in an episode of Family Guy. It's Citizen Kane (not to be confused with the 2011 movie Citizen Jane). I have seen a lot of movies, but there hasn't been a single movie leave me in more awe than that one did. If you're not a fan of old black and white movies you'll probably hate it, but I absolutely loved it. The main character is played by the man who delivered the original War of the Worlds radio speech, Orson Welles.

I'd have to say the newest Fast and the Furious movie: Fast Five. The battle between Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Vin Diesel was so EPIC. I think that's something that ALL of the fans wanted to see. I also liked the ending where it showed a car highjacker and in the picture, the person was Letty. That was sick.

My favourite movie, without a doubt, is Avatar. I know a lot of people knock the story, but I really enjoyed it. I thought it looked beautiful as well and I love watching it and feeling so immersed in this fantastic, imaginative world.  When I think of all the work that went into creating it, it only makes me appreciate it more. It's one of only a handful of movies that I can watch back to back and never get sick of seeing. Not to mention, I thought Zoe Saldana was great in it.

The only other movie I love just as much, would have to be Gone With The Wind. It's a classic.

V for Vendetta. The creators of The Matrix really made this graphic novel leap to live. This film might have very few fight scenes, but the way they put as much as they can into these fights makes a very fluid and awesome select few. The story is wonderfully told, and the aspects of complete government control over the country was a shocking possibility for the near future. No matter how many times I watch this film, I don't think I'll ever get bored of it.

I haven't heard of a lot of your favorites, but it seems like the movies people don't rant and rave over are the better movies. There are so many 'cult classics' and all these movies that are overly exaggerated for being "the best", and the greatest gems get looked over.

I've seen Avatar, and I'm a bit mixed on it. It looks very visually appealing, but also, it's just Pocahantas in 3D with cat beasts and the battle at the end is with robots instead of muskets. I was so disappointed, what with all the hype and what have you.

V for Vendetta was beautiful and always has been interesting for me to watch because it's just so thought inspiring. It makes you think about people and the world. And what's nice, is sometimes I watch the movie and it makes me feel discouraged, and other times I watch it and I feel like there's hope for humanity after all. It's always entertaining.

But my all time favorite, is Hot Fuzz. I love many of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's works, because they're just a hilarious comedy duo. Being from America, it's kind of relieving to see them being British humor is funny but in a different way. It seems much more dry and less relying on just crazy nonsense, and more on references to other things and playing off other characters. I guess I don't know how to explain. Lazlo Falconi and I quote that movie so much that it's kind of become integrated in how we talk, haha. That's a great movie if it gets into real life. It also pleases me to no end how well it fits in with Shaun of the Dead.

crazycatpup : You should read the eragon books they are a lot better than the film xD. Theres only 4 of them as well o it shouldn't take you that long to read

As for my favourite films, ill just name the first five i think of

Dodgeball : a true underdog story (i do play dodgeball after all)
Shawshank redemption
The breakfast club
How to train a dragon.
Mulan

Sad fact: I know pretty much all of the high school musical films songs off by heart... Yay for little sisters eh?

Ah man. When I was growing up, it was always Top Gun or Angels in the Outfield. I would not watch any other movies, unless I was watching with my grandparents. Then, last year, I saw Warriors; the movie about the two brothers who do UFC stuff. The movie has a lot less to do with UFC than the commercials would have you believe, and I loved the story behind it. So that became my favorite. And now... I saw "The Blind Side" last night. I was so moved that I actually plan on doing a huge review and how it touched my life. I do not know when I will be done with it, but I hope to have it done in time for TdV. So right now, my favorite movie is "The Blind Side", and it has nothing to do with my being a Ravens fan. And then my second would be Warriors, and third (a tie, actually) would be War Horse and Act of Valor.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
