You typing "Isra- hell" time and time again is VERY offensive.  I don't even live there or know anyone from that country, but it's really over- stepping a few lines.  We get it.  You hate Israel.  You could at least have respect for any Israelites or Jews using this site enough to use the country's name properly.

I think, with the world being so interconnected through mediums such as the Internet or even the media, we are slowly becoming a more tolerant, peaceful world. Obviously there are still many things wrong in the world but look at, say, America in the 1800s and look at it now. We've progressed forward quite a lot.

If you can't manage to discuss things in a mature and constructive fashion you'll face being banned from this forum. Instead of using blanket statements to label and insult large groups of people, try using actual arguments.

It's mainly racial profiling and ignorance.

I myself never think good thoughts when I see a Muslim in their full garb but then I've never had the chance to get to know a Muslim personally. I've only seen what the American media portrays and it's never "Guess what great things the Muslims did today," type of thing. It is always just "Today more Americans were bombed by crazy Muslims."

I'm sure that if Muslims were more open towards outsiders or if the area of Florida I lived in had more Muslims it would make me more aware of your culture but all I have now is what's in the media.

I think it is because people were hurt badly by terrorist attacks in the past and people always look for someone to blame and the media provided that person. Since then people directed all their hatred at a religion because they are hurt and it is human nature to take out your grief on other to ease pain, however I think it has gone beyond this now and it is caused by fear of more attacks so to prevent them people feel they should treat all people of the religion frequently mentioned in the media to lower their self worth. People may not realise this but I am guessing this is why. What isn't in human nature is to be selective in hate as we target groups not individuals in large scale events such as 9/11 and 7/7 meaning the innocent are punished and segregated along with the guilty minority.

I'm sorry for this whole Muslim-Christian war.  The fact remains however that people view small extremist groups having the same view as the whole along with the idea if it happened already it can happen again which makes us wary of Muslims in general.  Also Muslim have an effect on our troops while over there like pressure for women soldiers to cover their faces.  Though, our religions maybe similar I doubt peace will come because when there are differences there is fighting and when the fighting gets bad enough there is war.
