Personally I have two favourites and that is Shinigami (due to his sheer epicness and surprising power) and Dr Stein for the obvious madness and his weird romance with Medusa.

My least favourite would have to be Black Star as I hate obnoxious characters and he appears to be a rip-off of the young Naruto
