I tried looking around Innocent Town for the rules to make sure I know them all, but I cannot find anything. Would it be worthwhile to make a separate sticky thread specifically for the rules of this game --and update them as they get more complex with each round?

I've decided to change a rule for the sake of the bystanders.

Since the mafia gets double kills until the player count is below 20, the special bystanders (doctor, sheriff, trapper) get double moves as well and can in turn save two people, investigate two people, and trap two rooms.

Well, this is going to make things easier for the Bystanders. If the Trapper and the Doctor can guess correctly, the Mafia could be down to just the Godfather in 2 Nights, with no Bystander deaths. This is assuming that each kill is carried out by a separate Mafiosi, which it most likely is. Although, in the highly unlikely chance that does happen, the game'd just become one big search for a needle in a haystack, and that's no fun. Then again, that is highly unlikely, so the game should be safe.

I should say that the roles do not NEED to do twice the actions, but I keep trying to find ways to balance the game. Since before the mafia had two kills, I'm giving the bystanders more chances.

Last game was completely illogical for the most part. I want people to start actually thinking logically.

Hopefully this is a step in the right direction.

YourMajestyKen : The Bystanders are trying to kill the Mafia during the day, and the Mafia are trying to kill the Bystanders at night, while attempting to hide the fact that they are Mafia. All the Bystanders have to go on is what is said in the Day and done at Night. The Sheriff can alert the Bystanders to who they've discovered, but they become targets, and they could be lying. Same with the Insomniac. It's a game of logic and some luck.
