I bowl in a league. Jr. Bowling league. I actually won the league last year. Took home a few trophies too. I'm doing it again this year.

I used to be in a league a few years back, only reason I joined was because they needed a girl and I needed something fun to do... plus the last game was played in Vegas. Our team was so bad we named ourselves The Suck, but it was a fun league. Ironically, I didn't get my own ball until after I was no longer in it ($20/week was just not working for me). I am not the worst bowler, but I'm not that great... I think my average is somewhere between 99 and 120.

I would love to get back into the sport, especially now that I don't have as many back problems as I used to have, but we just have not had the time.

I bowled in YABA (young American bowling association) when I was 17 with some friends.  My high game was a 264.  I bowled almost everyday after school and during summer vacation for almost 4 years of my adolescent life.  I use to have a cool looking hot neon pink Ebonite Werewolf bowling ball.  It glowed in the blacklighting during midnight bowling.

I rarely bowl at all. I usually just bowl for fun if I do at all but really I do not bowl much. When I do bowl I am not very good at it. Seems too hard.

Nope, I tend to bowl for fun. I honestly thought bowling leagues were for old people, but as I grew up, that was proven wrong, but I didn't care about it because I preferred baseball or basketball or something of the sort, haha.

I have no skill in bowling, anyway, so no league would want me. =P

I used to bowl in a small league specifically for the homeschool association I was part of. It was not never real big, but it was definitely competitive despite the differences in skill level. You see, instead of the winners being the team that had the highest score each week, every team had a handicap to balance things out. So even when it was the best team vs. the worst team (in terms of high score) anyone could win. My closest friends (who did play) and I stuck together as much as we could. In terms of average score, we did pretty good. Myself and one friend averaged around 140, one averaged 150, and the other had an average of 160.

I used to bowl in a junior league but once I was done with high school. Work/college ended up running my schedule to the point where I couldn't continue with league without falling behind on homework. I am hoping to start up again next year so for now it is just for fun. I think my best game was like 212 but that was almost 5 years ago. On Avg now I think I do 160+ which isn't that good .

korbei : I've been bowling in the league for a couple of years now and my average LAST year was about 100. Which was way better than the year before. I think my average went up lately but I dont know the exact average right now.

rcarter2 : Everyone is bad until you play a lot. I have never really seen someone just be good at bowling. 

Speaking of which while we are the subject of bad bowling game my lowest score was a 32 >_<. I did so horrible that my wife kept making jokes about how I should use the bumpers for assistance lol!!!

pacman1755 : Ugh, I really need another custom ball. My fingers have grown since my last one so I can't properly fit in the holes.  What's the weight? I like the feel of a 13 but usually go with a 12.
