Yeh.i love it.i wish id been born like,300 years from now,so id have a chance of witnesing us exploring the stars.i want to know whats out there, see it,explore it.
But,i must settle for the tv programs and the books =(
I like the fact i cant explain it.i enjoy trying to figure out how it can possibly be endless, especialy since we know its expanding.but how could it end either?if theres one thing i want to know, its that.

VERY fascinated, actually. I've always wondered what all is out there. I'd almost kill to see it someday.

I'm fascinated by HD games, girls, drugs, books, work (believe it or not),  and many other things, space is "no pun intended" infinitely more profound I can't think of a strong enough way to describe how thinking about wonders of the universe both discovered and undiscovered can make me feel.

Yes space is awesome. Getting there is a different story and not so awesome. I need the assistance of a space alien to help me get to space cause our human made rockets just wont cut it when it comes to space travel.

It's funny. For the longest time I was so fascinated by space. Now I'm much more fixated on our little ball of dirt. I truly believe that Earth is the most exciting place in the known universe. We have life. LIFE! That trumps anything else that I can imagine.

NotJon : The thing about space is that it is infinite, maybe, not a astrophysicist here.  So the fact that there is life here in itself is not valid because most likely there is life in space too.  Now the fact that we can study all the cool things about life here does leave for some very interesting study.  The thing is, one day "apocalypse withholding" we will have figured out every aspect of life, nature, physics when it comes to earth.  Space on the other hand will never cease to unleash new things, new places, and endless possibilities.

fightorace :

"...most likely there is life in space too."

Which is why I specified with "known universe" rather than just universe. Space is not infinite from what I have learned. It came from almost nothing and has been expanding ever since.

I don't really believe that we will have learned everything. There's just so much information out there and new things will form that will add to the total.

What I was aiming for with my initial comment was to just point out that we have a planet that is so full of exciting things. We should be grateful for what we do have rather than just hopelessly travel into space. The fact that many people overlook is that it takes a lot of time to travel in space from even within our own solar system. The fastest speed possible is the speed of light - which we are unable to travel in the current time/age - and even at the maximum speed, it would take years and years to just travel outside the solar system. We'd die by the time we'd make any real distance. Currently, there is no efficient way to preserve people in space so that they can survive the ages in space. Let's not forget about the rest of us back on Earth. The body grows weak very quickly in zero gravity as well.

Any way you slice it, extended space travel is just not ethical, logical, or feasible. All I can say is  to value the microscopically small speck of dirt that we have now.

JigSaw : yea the aliens got the candy version of course, ooh a piece of candy, ooh a piece of candy, ooh an alien.  (family guy reference)

NotJon : Yea so unless we catch up to the never ending expansion of the universe, maybe you can let me slide on my incomplete astophysicists knowledge.

NotJon : Lols. Some one just turned the troll switch on a kid. Though it was for a good reason.

Well anyway. I am very fascinated about space. I want to just see all of it but I know that I never will which is kind of depressing. I hope I can go to the moon though.

I would be the first one there! (Moon landing is a lie!)

Just kidding.

Yes I am and I'm very into astronomy I really like the way how the universe is so big. My favorite study about space is learning about black holes.
