Another story mode that was present in brawl would be awesome. And online play of course. I'm excited to see how this turns out, Nintendo had better not screw it up..but I'm sure they won't.

  I'm stoked for this!  I was thinking it would be cool to have a handheld SSB when the DS first came out, but I'm glad that they postponed it until they could throw some awesome graphics into it first.  Now I'll be able to stare at the palms of my hands and fight people around the world instead of staring across at my TV (Yay me)!

We know nothing about this game so far, except the fact that there will be one.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the next release. I've been a big Smash Bros. series fan. I hope they make the physics more similar to those of Melee so more people will be willing to pick it up.

I'll MIGHT get this game if Kid Icarus didn't come out for 3ds soon.

I don't own or plan to own either system so I won't be getting it.

Smash Bros is really the only good franchise I care for on Nintendo's Pallette.

EclipseGoA : Kid Icarus is made by Capcom and SSB is made by Nintendo internally. With that being said, KI should come out before SSB. They haven't shown anything about the new SSB while KI has playable demo's and is probably almost finished.

Good god, Nintendo has finally done it. I wondered when Nintendo was gonna blast away Sony and Microsoft, like they did to Sega. Well, this game is going to kick so much ass, there will be nothing left of the PS3 and Xbox.

pieman9 : I sincerely doubt that it will destroy the 360 and PS3. They'll still be there, I assure you, but I do agree that Nintendo has something going here. However, I'm sceptical, as how Sony and Microsoft probably have an even more powerful 8th gen console coming up. Think about it, Nintendo is only now releasing something as powerful as the PS3 and 360. What would be the possibly that the next gen consoles for Sony and Microsoft will completely outdo the Wii U?

Just a thought.

Moving on to the next SSB, however, is a bit of a different story. I am actually excited for the next game merely because of the more powerful platform. Expect to see a giant cast of fighters, much more content, and better graphics. But most important of all? Better on-line. Finally. I expect this game to be called Super Smash Brothers Universe or something of the sort, given it's the Wii U.

I think that they should bring back some of the characters from Melee that were replaced in Brawl.  And they are, Dr. Mario, Young Link, Roy, Pichu and Mewtwo.  And they should add some more 3rd party characters since Sonic came out in Brawl.

As a Smash Bros. fan, I'm pretty excited for this.

I just wonder what new characters they will add, and I'm hoping they bring back the more fast-paced gameplay of Melee.
