I'm not sure if I really have a favorite instrument. I like music in general and a lot of them sound good. If I were hypothetically to be in a band, I'd wanna be vocals. That's not really an instrument though.

I guess the closest would be guitar. Every once in a while, I get the urge to wanna learn guitar (first after playing Guitar Hero 3, then again after watching Angel Beats, then again after watching K-On). I'd like to have a blue guitar though... probably like the Fender Mustang Special (Google it). If not that, then I'd want a guitar in that color blue, but shaped like a star. That's the guitar I used in Guitar Hero and really liked it.

I'm not sure if I posted in this thread yet but my favorite instrument would probably be the drums. I currently play the bass drums so...yeah. I also like the violin because I played it for five years.

The guitar. I love the electric guitar, but I'm better at the drums.

Drum-set is probably my favorite, with timpani being a close second

I would have to say drums or guitar. The piano plays very pretty too.

The violin or the piano will always be my favorites. There's so much versatility and both instruments are just beautiful. 

Acoustic guitar, love that thing so much, I cant play it though.

I really love playing the piano. I've learned so many Metroid songs!

My favorite instrument is the recorder because it was the first one I ever learned how to play.

My favourite instruments are the piano and electric guitar. Can't pay the electric guitar though. 

I love to hear the acoustic guitar, because the sound is so pleasing to the ears. Electric guitar is close behind in my mind, only because it doesn't sound as smooth.

Violin,
Bass,
Guitar,
and the Piano even.

I absolutely have to have music with strings.

For me it is kind of like not hearing your best fiend or something.

It is also about the callus on a persons hand.
You know the person is serious about music when it can actually cause pain to even bother gracing the subject.
Overcoming people begging you to stop when you are just learning is one thing.
But actually playing till your fingers could bleed is another level all-together. ( With the exception of the piano. That is a different yet equal sacrifice.)

I can not express the admiration I have for people that learn how to play string instruments.
It is sooo painful to begin learning.
But the payoff is so beautiful... you might sell your mama's soul to hear it again.

Then again.
That's just me.
And I could be wrong.

The Acoustic Guitar. Wonderful music. So smooth. Well, except for a person that doesn't know who to play the guitar.

Guitar (any kind) and piano. Then again, I'm biased, since I play them both. Actually leaning more towards piano as of late though.

piano just listening to the music is relaxing and any troubles you may had on the day goes away

I have always liked the guitar and I also like the piano, violin and the saxophone. The sax just sounds awesome to play and I wish that I could learn to play these instruments and be more familiar with them. Once you know how to play the violin, then it becomes easier to play instruments like the base, cello and all of those types of instrument. I would really like to take piano lessons and I think that it would be awesome to learn how to play. So overall, those are my favorite instruments I wish I knew how to play or could learn.
