I've been listening to the OST for Danganronpa, mainly as I'm doing a RP based on that around about now.

Listening to the Journeys album by Timecop1983. The genre, and especially this album, has a kind of synthy esoteric sound that really hearkens back to the eighties. Sometimes it does so in an almost kitschy manner.

But I like it. It has a certain innocent, charismatic charm. Plus it's really energetic.

Devil in Her Heart by the Beatles. It's a really good song! Has a good guitar line, harmony, lyrics... pretty much the whole shabang.

Kalawanji, by Kromestar and Cessman,

Seriously if there's any music that puts me in the best of vibes for pretty much EVERY situation, this is the one, along with Rusko's Cockney Thug for more energetic settings.

Right now, I am listening to and enjoying a song from the Starbound soundtrack (music composed by Curtis Schweitzer and Solatrus), called Event Horizon. I used to hear this song a lot whenever I found a boss or something to defeat on a planet (yep, it's battle music), so it always used to put me on edge. rofl Now, that's changed a bit in the game, but it's still hilarious in real life because I start to jump and the adrenaline starts to rush even when I hear this song being played outside of Starbound, where there are no bosses or mini-bosses from the game. XD

I'm listening to Savior, Please by Josh Wilson.
It's a song about the struggles and pain we face in our daily lives, and simply surviving them. We all talk about overcoming and doing great, but the fact is that sometimes just surviving is the best we can do. We get to the point where we can't go on any longer and have to dig down deep to find a reason to do so because our will is just all dried up. Some people turn to one thing and some to another, but this song is about doing what I do, and turning to Jesus. It's really all I can do when I hit that point.

A few key lines: "I try to be so tough, but I'm just not strong enough. I can't do this alone, God I need You to hold on to me...Savior, please, keep saving me".

I don't want to go into it because it's super personal, but the second verse means so much to me personally, and speaks to my heart in a big way. It's a song that I could have handled listening to a bit more often lately. Thank God He's helped me through these things, because without Him I couldn't have made it.

This morning, I'm listening to a song called Mouthful Of Diamonds by Phantogram. Lately I've been really tired, and right now I just need easy to listen to, synthy wavy music around me. I'm not very familiar with Phantogram. I know they were quite popular for a time a few years back, as I started seeing them in television interviews and on social media. I've never really given them much of a chance outside of this one song, so maybe I will one day.
On a side note, I never saw the music video up until just now. It's pretty...hmm..interesting. I will say, it changes my interpretation of the song slightly. I think the physical performance of the musicians the video is not great (ok maybe just the girl is subpar lol), and the effects and camera work leave a lot to be desired, but the setting and style and the ideas involved are very cool to me.

I'm listening to Photograph by Nickelback. It's one of the few songs from them that I know, and love. I haven't listened to many of their songs, but the way the "story" of the song goes is just beautiful.

Right now, I am listening to the song called Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni (The Glittering Tears Sent to the Stars), sung by Sachi Tainaka. This song was the second opening theme for the anime called Fate stay/night, and I had this song set as my ringtone/alarm for a few months when it was a bit harder than usual to wake up. ^^0;; This song, along with Disillusion (the opening theme for Fate stay/night), sort of reflects my mood right now.

Right now, I am listening to the song called The Legend of Ashi-taka (without the dash, I just had to add it because Vizzed censored the name lol) by Joe Hisaishi. This is one of my favorite songs from the soundtrack for Princess Mononoke (also one of my favorite movies), and I loved the song the moment I heard it.  =)

Right now, I am listening to the song called Laputa The Castle in The Sky by Joe Hisaishi and the New Japan Philharmonic World Dream Orchestra. This is one of my favorite songs from the soundtrack for Castle in the Sky (it's another one of my favorite movies from Studio Ghibli  ). There is just something magical about most of his songs (in a sense, they seem to transport me across space and time).  =)

Right now, I'm listening to the 1st opening theme of Attack on Titan. I'd consider it to be the greatest anime opening theme of all time. The other 2 opening themes they've made are extremely underwhelming in comparison.
