So, in this thread, just tell me if you would like CapCom to continue with the original series of Mega Man. Should they continue, or has it run its course? I would like to see another game. Hopefully they don't screw the fans over this time.

I rather see them continue the original storyline, (From Megaman, to X, to Zero, to ZX) then make another Megaman game for now. They've neglected it for a really really long time now, and the fans like me that liked those types of Megaman games are starting to get a little frisky.

Heck, as long as they think people will buy it, they will make it. Given that there hasn't been much evidence that Megaman fans wouldn't buy it, they might.

Well I didn't think that they were going to make another NES megaman game but I really hope they do...

I don't see any reason that they shouldn't, but then again they don't really need to keep remaking the game. It was awesome when they came out with 9 and 10, but then again there's not really much more new they can do with the original series.

Maybe they could come out with one every few years. I'm sure people would buy them. I know I purchased 9 and 10 as soon as they came out.

Hello, I'm ProGamer135, a professional video gamer. How are you guys doing? I think there should be a Mega Man 11 because I really enjoyed watching my cousin play it and playing it myself. The weapons are awesome and the upgrades are interesting. The bosses and courses are exotic and some are challenging. I hope there will be a Mega Man 11. Goodbye!

As far as Mega Man goes, I will always play a new Mega Man original series type game, but the idea is sort of running itself thin as far as level design and boss battles go

Well I don't think so there have been a lot of mega man games  and I don't think that if they make a new one that it would be so much fun to play as 1 and 2. I find that the same thing with Pokémon the new generation. Its nothing special only new Pokémon. So I say if they make a new one they should make 1 with all the older robot masters from the previous mega man games. But that's just my opinion.

I have heard so much about Mega Man,. I tried it, and personally could not get into it. I do not know why. But, I love the game itself, just not the kind that I will actually play. I think they should keep making them as long as people are willing to buy them. There is a huge fan base out there, and that will help with production and sells. Also, if they do, they really need to improve the graphics; they are not all the great, to say the least.

I'd love a MM11. that would be pretty cool in my opinion.

but first I have to get all of these damn trophies on MM10 and buy MM9.

In my opinion, I think there should be a Mega Man 11
because I enjoyed watching my cousin play it and I also enjoyed the
experience of playing the game myself. The weapons are awesome and the
upgrades are interesting. I extremely enjoy the exotic courses and the
amazing challenges. Firing the blaster from the main character's arm is
just enjoyable. Contacting enemies is just fun because I like the action
and battling in this series. I totally think there should be a Mega Man

I'm kinda having mixed views on this game. While I think that a Mega Man 11 could be a good idea, I just don't see how any originality could go into it at this point, since they've gone above and beyond with all of their other games in the series.

Plus, their developer quit Capcom. So unless he starts his own company, no new Mega Man games will be made again, since Capcom doesn't own the rights to the character anymore.

Even if we don't want that to happen, Capcom is still going to release another Mega Man regardless. They know that tons of people are going to buy the game, so they are still going to use the same formula that has lost its taste ever since Mega Man 4.

I would very much like to see another Mega Man game as long as maybe they can help fill in the gaps as to how Zero was built, what happened to Bass and Wily as well as Dr. Light and the gang, and what happened to Mega Man himself. Other than that, the old style MM games have always been a classic for me and I like the hard challenge that comes with them. You certainly don't  end up being disappointed when the game is over and you've won.

Megaman is pretty much dead DX. I'm a huge megaman fan myself, but mostly of the RPG styled megamans. That said, I enjoyed the originals wen I got around to them. The thing is, megaman's creator has left capcom. Also, capcom could care less about megaman, all they really care about is remaking old popular titles like street fighter and resident evil. Megman has been reduced to a cross series fighter DX I hate that, but its the truth. Sorry, but it's just not going to happen unless you do it yourself! <----brilliant idea!!!

Possibly, but doubtful. Megaman is just about dead in my opinion. They COULD continue to make games as Megaman seems to be one of those "always a new one" game (like Mortal Kombat) but it'd be pretty much pointless. I feel like the fans died alongside the game itself

I would like to see a "ark" from Megaman to Megaman X.. It will be a nice game to have

pacman1755 : I saw your mega man 2 playthrough on YouTube and there are a few things that I wanted to point out.

In Heatman's stage, if you have Item 2, all you have to do is go on the platform right next to the lava and ride it to the end of the room. Also, you don't have to stop and kill every enemy. In fact there's only 1 enemy I believe you have to kill to run through it without taking damage. Also, when Heatman's prepares to charge at you, run as far as you can away until he dashes. Then jump torwards him as he gets close and switch directions in midair. If timed properly, it should cause him to stop and attack, which sets him up. Just be sure to attack while the fire balls are in the air.

In Quickman's stage, you'll need a lot more than speed. Unless ur a rapid fire genius, I suggest using Airman's weapon to take out the Mega Man 2 version of Big Eye, then switch to your buster and finish him off. On the first screen with lasers, click start twice. It'll reduce the falling rate of megaman, allowing you tí reach the platform that normally can't be reached w/o jumping. As for Quickman's himself, you can trick him into running into the crash Bombs, so with decent timing you can kill him with only 3 bombs.

In Airman's stage, you don't have to wait for the drills to come up and go back down. You can just run on and off of them as soon asthe drill goes down. Other than that I saw no problem with this stage.

In Crashmans stage, if you shot to the right on the first screen of the final climb (the screen right before the birds fly in) they'll just come from the right and not be a problem (most of the time). Otherwise pretty good.

In Metalmans stage, near the end, try and trick them off of the screen.

At the end of woodman's stage. There was no need to fight the chickens. Let them jump over u. U did ok against the hot dogs.

In bubble mans stage, keeping one frog on the screen prevents the big frogs from launching more. I've also noticed you focus on killing the enemy. You don't have to kill every enemy.

Nothing wrong with Flashmans stage in my opinion

As for the wily stage, I'll just leave it at this: you had your ups and downs.

Overall it's an ok playthrough but it could be much improved.

I would probably like to see a Megaman 11. I'd rather see more Zero at this point of the megaman series. Maybe a Megaman and Zero team up game? They save the world from a new evil doctor. New robot bosses. New world probably, something like a tattered world from the new evil Dr.

I think a Mega Man 11 would be great on the Wii U and 3ds eshops. Who know, maybe use all that processing power to put more robot masters in, or a post-game, or something. It would be nice if they were more creative with the robot masters this time around.

Sure, why not?  They've made over well over 11 of other games, like Final Fantasy for example lol and Super Mario Bros
