I've been in the chatroom for a long time and i've heard a ton of internet words and memes that are annoying as heck. I just wanna know which ones bother you the most. For me, lol is the most overused internet word. Either lol or brb. OVER 9000!, do a barrel roll!, rickrolls, and IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR!. All of these memes are stupid and annoying when repeated over and over.

I have to say the ones that annoys the crap out of me is. IT'S OVER 9,000!!!!! I'm a big fan of DBZ, but even I'm tired of it. Also it gets on my nerves with all the Chuck Norris comments as well the Justin Beiber comments. I don't like the style of music he does, but just because he's a teenage heart throb doesn't mean he's gay. The boy is just making a living just like any other musicians.

Well, for some reason, Internet memes don't annoy me. They seem interesting enough. I even like changing some Chuck Norris facts every now and then with a friend. We talk about video games and we throw in a lot of memes and references, even sometimes when not talking about them, like the arrow to the knee one, when we're talking about Skyrim, or the "That'sssss a nice everything you got there" from Minecraft. Of course, I don't like it when people start spamming them, or just regular spamming, after all. But this is just my opinion, and since I am an Internet 'surfer' I like researching about memes. There's a good site you could use called "Know Your Meme", in case you're curious.

   I am so naive when it comes to this kind of thing. I've heard most of what your saying but until I saw this thread I never even heard "meme" before. I still don't get it.

Yeah chuck norris sure is mentioned a lot. Way too many kids these days make acronyms for everything, and half of them don't even make sense, and they are totally overused. Like lol, ttyl,bff, brb, lmao,rofl, and also words like yolo swagg are way over used in my school, and it really gets annoying after about a million times by each student. I can understand using the ttyl type words when you are trying to get information  in quickly, but they use it all the time, and it really gets old and irritating after a while. LOL is the most overused internet word I have ever seen. Seriously, its not cool or anything. Its just annoying, repetitive, and breaks the flow of anything its used in. If people are going to add a laugh. Do this XD its simple expressive, and looks like a laugh. lol is just plain stupid.

I also hate most short versions of words heres some of them. ty, lol, brb, btw, lmfo, txt, etc. They just show how lazy the person who typed them is. I understand if you have only 12 buttons to text (only 9 are used) and you want to quickly text someone with out spending 10 minutes texting a short message. If you're typing them, though they are just useless considering the fact that typing is quicker.

In general I hate most internet terms, I hate most crap on the internet. Then again, maybe its my perference of older times. (Times I never lived in but wished I did.) 80's 90's etc.
LOL is the most overused internet word I have ever seen. Seriously, its not cool or anything. Its just annoying, repetitive, and breaks the flow of anything its used in. If people are going to add a laugh. Do this XD its simple expressive, and looks like a laugh. lol is just plain stupid.

I also hate most short versions of words heres some of them. ty, lol, brb, btw, lmfo, txt, etc. They just show how lazy the person who typed them is. I understand if you have only 12 buttons to text (only 9 are used) and you want to quickly text someone with out spending 10 minutes texting a short message. If you're typing them, though they are just useless considering the fact that typing is quicker.
