That happened to me to.I wonder why the game freezes.Because when I try to equip something on other Super Nintendo games that game doesn't freeze.

This was a very common problem for almost everybody. Another user actually recently found a way around this freezing glitch, and he made a thread.

This has gotten a lot of users around the Jonathan Johns fight freeze, equip freeze, and the Axem Rangers freeze. Let me know if this helps.
