Update...

So, Brian and I lived together for about 70 days. Last night he flew back to Michigan and is going back to work.

We won't see each other for about another six months.

The next visit can only be about 14 days long, and unfortunately by that time I will still be going to school, so we'll only have about 3 or 4 full days together, depending on what days of the week we have to drive to the airport.

After I graduate in September, I'll have free time... I'm considering taking time off and visiting Michigan, since Canadian Immigration is a huge pain. It's against the law to just move to Canada without either a permit or residency (neither of which we are legible for at this point). It's a lot of money and time to submit the forms and wait for them to be processed, before he can stay here with me again for more than a few months.

Canada's immigration sounds tougher than ours, but I suppose I can understand that. Seems kinda annoying just for a visit though.

I am super happy for you, by the way. And at least you have the skype chats to help pass the months away until you can visit him. I've never been to Michigan, but hopefully it is nice and you get along great with his family.

Elara : It is way more strict than America, which surprised us both (unpleasant surprise). We will be able to submit a residency form once we can afford it. I'm not worried, basically it's just a waiting game at this point.

And yeah, I am really thankful for Skype. I also have a PS3 right now so we can play Multiplayer games on PSN as well.
