Who does not have beautiful memories of the big game hits of our childhood? Out run is just like Sonic the Hedgehog and space Harrier for me as a nice reminder. I probably was a quite Sega fan girl, if we are honest about those times! Apart from the good and fun implementation of the above title, there was also bad sequels. In this case the speech should be below out run, which we here once more will look in the battle issue.

For the master system released in 1989, Battle Out-Run is actually more like Chase h.Q. And less like a real out run. On the hunt for the bosses of various crime syndicates her persecuted them in their cars and must bring then by excessive ramming to stand it. This arises only by reading the text of the packaging, a nice intro and story elements you will not find in the game itself or only after you have eliminated the opponent.

The order in which you beat the opponent, is up to you. On a map of North America, it selects the next opponent. It is however advisable to tackle the syndicate bosses in ascending order, since the difficulty at the end, but it attracts. So that you ever have a chance, by defeating opponents additional money plays free, which can be invested in car upgrades. To do this, you drive in a truck, which is home to the workshop, where you can buy useful items such as Nitro or new engines.

In classic out run-style tour whose been biking it first while winding, but always linear routes from and evades the richly represented Super Highways. We collide with another vehicle, we will be completely thwarted. As such is mastered, waiting for the opponent upon you, who must be brought to a halt by ramming. Each RAM slows the enemy your car, however, here too, but not and so you are constantly again to speed up, preferably with neat Nitro in the luggage. Energy not loses her own here, a very tight time limit makes each level but a closely limited race against the clock. Fails you, you may start as often at the beginning of the track, earned successes are not lost here.

Visually this game is very pretty to look at the whole thing at first glance, however after a short time has shown some weaknesses. The zoom level of the car sprites work vehicles which appeared far away still just irregular, are available directly in front of you in the next moment. In addition, other road users are very uniform, in the House of Sega all staff seem to drive a taxi. The backgrounds are, however, appealing therefore, alternate elements such as beach, meadow, and desert. Drag is as expected, but the music is cool. After all, you may select one of the four titles in the car before each spin. The effects of crashing and knocks make the car act in strange ways but somehow fitting.

Overall, battle out run is surprisingly much more fun at least in the beginning. If it has defeated the first few opponents. The game play is too uniform to keep in the long term, really happy. Also the multi-care presentation and the harsh difficulty contribute their part. For fans of the series so interesting, everyone else do without. (last edited by tRIUNE on 09-19-11 02:56 PM)

The path to enlightenment is not a path at all, it's actually a metaphor for the time it takes for you to allow yourself to be happy with who you already are, where you're already at, and what you already have - no matter what.
