What do you do that annoys your parents? How do they react when you do it?

When Mom takes me shopping, sometimes I'll accidentally start tap dancing to the music that's playing, and then She would turn to Dad and say "Sir! Please control your son!"

I like the theme song to Red Dwarf a lot, so All the time, I'll start humming it, then mom would say "Andrew! Stop DoDo-ing! It's shouldn't be mentally healthy how much you sing that!"

a few years ago, (I get 10 dollars a week for allowance), I didn't know what to give mom for christmas, so I got her a "Coupon" that lets her get anything she wants under 75$ and I'll pay for it, she put it away and forgot about it, and just recently she found it while cleaning her room, so then she was about to use it, but it expired in 2009 and she said "NOOOOOOOO! I Can't Believe My Own Son Did This To Me!"

one time, me and my friend taylor were REALLY bored! so we came up with a game, where one of us would put on a blindfold and try to hit the other person by throwing a dirty sock at them, and we would switch every time one of us got hit, so then I was the one with the blindfold, I thought I heard taylor behind me, so I turned around and said "AHA! PREPARE TO MEET YOUR DOOM!" and threw the sock! but then I heard "GAH" and laughing in the other direction, so I took of the blindfold, and mom was standing right where I threw the sock! and according to taylor, I hit her in the face! although I can't remember what she said after that, I just remember that she had a weird look on her face

My mother is deaf. And I am a little bastard for being her son. Love my mom to death and all, but she FLIPPS out when I tend to prank her from time to time.

Now, when it's serious, I am serious. But when I'm not being serious I tend to have a little fun. First and foremost, I am NOT making fun of my own mother's disability. I'm partial deaf myself (Through fighting) and I have total respect for my mother.

But my mom can read lips and totally understand you without actually speaking. She's deaf, of course she can't hear you. But imagine you screaming without having the vocals to scream? You have that face right? You have that look? I do this all the time in public places and she thinks I am doing that. She starts freaking out wondering why I am screaming and I start laughing and hushing her.

But hey! She does some pranks on me too! It's only fair game! She can tell what music my friends and I used (This was when I was like 14-16 years old mind you) just by feeling the beat of the music coming out of the speakers. She would always get the first three guesses wrong and then turn around at a red light saying "You guys should really stop listening to *Insert band here*; It's really bad for your ears". And that would FREAK my friends out. granted, it takes a good while to understand her English. But it was loud and clear hearing her say that.

really its my parents that annoy me most of the time but once my mum really got on my nerves so i mindfreaked her i was like 13 and i cut one of her buttons of a random coat, then i put everything slightly out of place like i put the iron back in the cupboard instead of the irnoning board, hid all the coathangers, put her handbag in obscure places so by the time i was done she thought she was going mad.

I admit this was kinda bad but from what i remember it was about equal to how she annoyed me, we got over it though.

I often tell very bad puns. My parents hate those.

That's easy. To annoy my mom I start talking in a British accent all day. It drives her insane for reasons unknown (Although even she laughs when I start to sing whatever song comes on the radio, accent still intact. I am surprisingly skilled at it. Who knew? )

It becomes extra hilarious when my sister is home, because accents are one of those things you just slip into when another person is using it. So then we are BOTH using a British accent and my mom starts throwing stuff at us. Mainly pillows and 'shut up' s, but occasionally if they are in reaching range, she will throw stuffed animals.

Oh, she got so wonderfully frustrated though when we were out to dinner. My sister and I had started up our accents, and my mother was doing her best to ignore us, even when we ordered in an accent. Then I asked her a question and she replied. In an accent.

She got so red and yelled at me as if I forced her to speak like that, while my sister and I busted up laughing. My mom still doesn't even know how it happened since she can't just slip into an accent like me and my siblings.

Another annoy technique I use only when my sister around is the 3rd person technique. Basically, the words I, you, we, our, your, and mine don't exist and we refer to ourselves in the third person for as long as we can. More often than not, our accents come out on top of this. It's funny because we don't need to talk about it before we do it. One of us will start it up on a whim, and the other will just join right in automatically.

This one earns us some nice glares after a short few minutes and when we started doing this at an amusement park, my mom legit threatened to leave us behind when she went home XD Well, the people around us in line thought we were funny....

One more thing that annoys her is when I catch her watching cartoons and anime. She can deny it all she wants, but it is kind of obvious she loves Avatar the Last Air bender. (Who can blame her though?)

I've walked in on her watching it and she tries to cover it up by changing the channel. When I give her a look she just tells me to shut up before putting it back on.

It's all in good fun. I have an awesome mom who likes to annoy me too so it all works out. After all, every time it snows, I get woken up via snow ball to the face.

I come from such a mature household.

I used to be horrible to my parent's, but now that I'm 17 and I don't live with them anymore, I kind a noticed why I got into trouble, and now I'm just a lot more polite with them.. It's different and I miss them a lot.

I don't live with my parents so it's difficult to annoy them, although I wish I did.

By the way, this doesn't belong in the Cray House. I'll move it to the Cafe Corner, the local mods there can move it otherwise.

Well my parrents just down right hate me.  When I say anything or do anything they will yell at me.  My dad hates it when I get into cleaning modes, be too happy, be sad, be depressed, or cook.  My step mom hates it when I don't clean enough, when I am showing any emotion, when I ask questions, when I try to take care of my sister, when I write or draw, when I watch tv, when I listen to music, how I walk, and how I eat.

It was funny my step sister decided to come over for a day and she lost it by night time.  She couldn't stand how they were treating me she ran out the house screaming.  My brother hates coming over because of it too.  He only comes over to spend time with me and my little sister.  He adores her.

Oh what bugs my step mom a lot too is if at a party and people start talking to me.  She will litteraly cry in a chair and say that no one is talking to her and she's all alone!   My brother just gets so sickened by that he will actually go into the bathroom and throw up!   My step mom is such a weirdo.

Just about the only thing I do to my parents any more is not return their calls. XD
They just hate that for some reason... Oh yeah, I also let my daughter (Who can't talk) call them all the time and leave 30 minute voice mails of her babbling incoherently.


...Then again, they do the same to me when their drunk. D=

I don't really do too much to annoy them considering that they are gone most of the time anyway
