Back in 1996, 2 games became a hit in Japan... these were Pokemon Red and Green (Blue outside of japan) Oh wait! this is Gold! Well I'm just giving some history on these games. In the year 1997 Nintendo announced Pocket Monsters 2: Gold and Silver, originally for the old Game Boy, the game was vastly different from the one we know today. Differences include simple route designs that resembled the generation 1 games and the lag of color. Different versions of Pokemon (Anime, etc.) showed the new Pokemon like Togepi and Ho-Oh from the infamous Pokemon- I choose you! Episode. The game never came through in 1997. until early 1998 where more info came in, and the game being called the today title Pokemon Gold. However, Yellow was coming to Japan and Red and Blue was coming to North America. Hackers have found early maps and even a skateboard to rival the bikes. Onto the actual review, Pokemon Gold came out in America on October 15th, 2000 and boy wan it awesome! Everybody would agree, the sound is very catchy and the challenge is higher than red and blue due to the new types like dark and steel. The story makes references to Red and Blue and after beating the Elite 4 you can visit Kanto. The game is deep because there's 100 new Pokemon and fighting a certain someone at the end. In closing, Pokemon gold is highly addictive but if you somehow get all 251 Pokemon you probably won't play it again. Well... what are you waiting for!? PLAY IT NOW!!!

Hmm...I'm sorry, but I feel you did not really review the game. What makes it stand out? How did it really change from the original game, exactly? What is good/bad about the sound? How are the visuals? What, in the end of the day, makes it worth looking at? Could you go into a little more detail please?

I own Pokemon Silver, and it was an enjoyable game, and Gold is essentially its clone with different Pokemon.

Sorry the review was a little rushed, Gold and Silver do have a very interesting history behind them. If you want to read more you could look it up on Bulbapedia. It's fine that people like Silver better, but they're the same thing but with minor tweaks. The game was very deep and does a great job explaining what happened when the trainer from Red, and other games from generation 1, the sound was a joy to listen to, and if you visit Kanto, you'll hear remixes of the old songs. I can't complain about the sound at all. For the time being, the game looked good, some Pokemon had odd designs like Chansey but today some could be ranters and act like '' Oh Call Of Duty looks better than this garbage'' modern people > By the challenge being higher, I meant the newer changes made to the strategies from the old games. but the game is somewhat easy. ( I completed the actual game when I was 6) Since the review was rushed, you can thank my older brother for that and I hoped that I covered more than last time.

Pokémon Gold review: I used to have it , and it was always my favorite, because I really liked the new Pokémon. Some of the coolest and best starters I think. I always choose Totadile, because most of the time Water types are not to easy or difficult to raise. Plus he looked sick in final form. It has been so long, but I few years ago I bought Pokémon HeartGold. Which is my favorite Pokémon now, because it has so many gyms and you get starters from the first Three gens. I would buy that cause they a fundamentally  similar. Both are very fun I just prefer the newer one.
The change is all the new Pokémon and different gyms and more types are introduced. I also prefer the legendary Pokémon the dogs and lugia/ Ho-oh. It also looked a little bit better than the first Gen. Sound, both have similar sound, and violin's: team rocket, blasting off again! The puzzles were somewhat harder, but not enough to make you stop playing. If you don't have HeartGold I would get it. Gotta catch them all!
