I was reminded why I made the VCS monthly in the first place and I'm planning on sticking with it. The VCS isn't about who can spam the most every 2 or 3 months... it's about seeing who is actually posting the most without needing "competition". That's the way it's going to be. I realize that this might ruin the "specialness" for some people but I'm tired of the way a VCS month was and I'm making it like this for good.

I honestly didn't know I had enough influence to cause this.

Also, you yet again fail to understand what the point of the VCS is. It's not about out-posting everyone else in huge posting sprees. I made the change to get rid of that sort of posting. I realize people are still going to post to win but at least we won't get spamming as bad as we've had.

mike345 : post however much you want to post.... but do it because you enjoy posting, not because you want to get top 10 in the VCS.

I won't be participating as per usual, August is always a busy month for me, and my post desire has hit rock bottom, I'll post maybe 500 times this month if I am lucky.

Although I have been doing well anyway =P

Maybe i'll wait one more month seeing as how so much more people are competing. But I really think it should be every alternate month rather than month after month. I might try to place again like I did last month but a higher rank hopefully.

wow, I can't believe I got points. I didn't think I had posted 20 times that day. It's a good start I guess

I am going to shoot for it, but this really does not change anything for me. Besides, I the next semester of college starts in just under three weeks for me, so I am probably just going to be a shadow this month.

if you are banned when the VCS is checked you don't show up on the list at all.

I can manually remove people from getting points but if they are banned then the vcs page does it for me and moves everyone up a position.

I did notice one of those posts. It was in a rented forum. Looks this thread is going to see a lot of action again this VCS

that's what you're supposed to do

If you feel like posting 20 times then do that.... if you feel like posting 50 then do that. Don't post 50+ times just because you want to win the VCS though. Do it because you're enjoying the posting.

I think today that the_casualty, Snowdeath, and maybe vizwiz123 will get in on the spree action. I only know casu for sure since he and I talked about it late last night. I'm just getting a start on him.

My goal for today is to get to 6550 posts. Which would probably put me only 500 posts behind noelia for 9th.

well, the same rule applies to today as I've had on many previous days.

If we break 1,000 posts for the day then you get double points.

I'm gonna try and knock pac-man off his place but i'm gonna have to go on a posting spree first I have to eliminate mike and take second place

hackerman : damn people are really posting Leggy will be like he has been for the last few months intent on gaining ranks, now Casu wants to defend his spot and move up as well, lol u already light years ahaed of haxzor :p Wishful thinking has me posting more, but still not spreeing yet :/
