The last 2 days combined are over 1,200 posts. That's not a drop in activity at all.

I guess it's just a shock being high in the rankings for once. I mean, I'm always one of the top 5 or so posters each month, but my posting methods don't translate to a high place in the VCS (I think my highest position is 8th)

I feel like there's been a drop off, but I guess I'm mistaken.

oh, and your method of posting actually translates into more points than most other people. You can post 50 times in 1 day and get 10 points.... but posting 20-30 times every day gets you points every day with the amount of activity that we've had. That generally translates into more points than most of the other people who post a lot 1 day but only a couple times the rest of the days.

eh.... not all that intense for us I don't think. I've been posting a lot because i've got a lot to get ready for the new local mods and I've had my drive to post. I think Leggy just posts cause he wants to. We're not really competing so much as we're interested to see who ends up on top at the end of it all.

If we were actually competing with each other we'd have 100 posts a night

Yeah, i'd say it's more friendly "competition", than an actual post off between the two of us. If we wanted to, we could dominate the board night in night out, but it's a good thing we don't =P

septembern : I know what you mean. And you don't have anyone close by to try and catch. When I hit 10,000 David was around 13 or 14k so it wasn't too far off. But a 7,000+ post lead isn't fun to catch.
