The last movie that I saw was Glass Onion, which is a new Knives Out movie. I really liked Knives Out and I thought this one was so much better. The acting was great and I thought the humor was phenomenal. The movie doesn't actually come out on Netflix until a few days before Christmas but Netflix chose to show it in theaters for like four days around Thanksgiving.

Netflix really missed a great opportunity to make a lot of money by keeping it in theaters because it was truly one of the best movies of 2022.

the last movie I just saw in theatres was the new Avatar: The Way of Water, and honestly I went in hyped and left hyped. It was a very long wait and Im happy with what I saw. They definitely left some things untouched, for obvious reasons of continuing the series. And there were a few things I didn't neccessarily enjoy about the movie like specific characters (Spider he literally serves 0 purpose) and a few choices, but again it was huge on lore and background, so i'm happy for it.

I watched "Lovehard" on Netflix a few days ago. It's nothing special, just your standard romance plot with a christmas backdrop.

A girl searching for the perfect partner realizes what she really wants was right in front of her. It's an extremely cheesy and predictable movie, but I happen to like that so I enjoyed it. Worth a watch maybe, if you like those kinds of setups.

The last movie that I saw was Avatar The Way of Water. I only had one main concern.

The final fight didn't seem to have much variety. There were moments where for like 30-60 seconds the fighting was repetitive. For the final 20 or so minutes I loved when they were trying to leave the boat, the family stuff, and the fight when they first arrive but the main fight between the two of them felt pretty lackluster.

I'm also surprised at how few people were talking about the movie itself. Before I saw it, I saw so many people online bringing up the point that everyone is talking about how much money the movie made but not about the actual movie. After seeing the movie I kind of agreed because I waited two weeks to see it and there were a few things that I was surprised by that I thought would have been spoiled online after only a few days.

Other than that, I really liked it. I saw it in Dolby 3D with HFR and while that did make many scenes look really weird, the movie as a whole looked fantastic. I think the best looking part of the movie was the opening sequence and after seeing that on such a big screen, I have to wonder if this was how people felt when the first Star Wars came out.

I liked it more than the first and I'm hoping that it can make it into top 3 all time earnings.

I just saw Goodfellas for the first time this week, and I gotta say it really blew me away. It was so well written, very funny, and very brutal. It's so crazy that it's a relatively accurate depiction of true events, though the Italian mob was a truly nightmarish figure at the time. Ray Liotta and Joe Pesci's performances were so good, and the twists and turns the story provided were just as unhinged and surprising as the characters themselves.

Last movie I seen was Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Plantasma. Ever since instagram started showing me reels of the show I had an interest of watching it again since it’s been so long. The movie was pretty good surprisingly, though it’s more of a one time thing since some scenes are a put off (most of the mooninites scene for example but not spoiling)

I saw Blue Valentine again for the 50th time (probably) yesterday.

Absolutely my favorite movie of all time, staring my favorite Actor of all time.

The movie is exceptional and never fails to make me feel emotional watching the ending.

The music is also by one of my favorite bands (grizzly bear)

The last movie that I saw was Plane. At first I was skeptical because it was called Plane and the actor fought the studio to keep it as Plane even though the trailer makes it look like there's 10 minutes of Plane. But the movie ended up being a lot better than I thought it would be and I really liked the cinematography. There were a lot of dumb moments though that I think Cinema Sins would have a field day with.

Last night I watched Avatar with my friends, and it was pretty much what I expected. A pretty good movie, but without the 3D I didn't really get the feeling it was a 2 billion dollar movie.

Tonight I'll be seeing Avatar: The Way of Water in IMAX 3D...so I'll be sure to update about that experience.

The Last movie that I saw was A Man Called Otto. I randomly had the urge to go to a really nice mall today and they have a theater inside of it. I didn't really want to do a really long trip and just have a few items to show for it so I went and saw a movie too. I liked the story but I thought it was way too long, it was over two hours long and I don't think it's a genre that deserves to be that long.

The last movie that I saw was the new That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime movie. I didn't really know much about what was going on since I wasn't fully caught up with the show and I thought the first half was pretty bland but I absolutley loved the second half and thought the movie as a whole was pretty good.

I saw Stay earlier today while I just chilling out, one of my favorite Ryan Gosling movies. The story is complicated and odd but it never fails to entertain.

I just watched Molly's Game with my girlfriend earlier today. Well... the first 45 minutes of it. Then she decided she didn't want to watch anymore. We'll finish it eventually. Or I'll finish it by myself if she doesn't want to.

I last watched Captain Harlock. I had an itch to watch that movie as of late, so I finally gave in and watched it in Japanese (the Spanish dub is quite good but it's a bit harder to find, so maybe next time xD).

I think it's the first movie I watch this year, considering that I only watch TV when having lunch or dinner and I mostly watch either sports (winter sports are at its peak right now) or some series. To think that just two months ago I was mostly focused on devouring movies during my meals... Humans change quite quick sometimes lol

I just saw John Wick: Chapter 4. Got into a bit of an argument with a good friend over these movies as he was complaining about never wanting to watch Avatar 2 because most of the movie is fight sequences and it exists more for technical / aesthetic purposes than to serve a story or performance.

This movie seems to do all four of those things. Don't really get the comment that John Wick is all action scenes, as this three hour long movie didn't have any fights until half an hour in, and I'd say about 1/3 of the movie in total is combat. The rest is pretty heavily focused on worldbuilding and dialogue than Avatar, and its direction / cinematography have a lot of throwbacks to classic cinema.

A week or two after it came out I went down to the grande theatre and watched the Mario Movie. I thought it was great, I really enjoyed the call backs and Easter eggs. I had pretty low expectations going into it and honestly went purely to see Jack Black voice Bowser. I’d definitely make it out to see the sequel if/when it comes out.
