It's been a while since I watched a new movie I've never seen before. Today I saw a movie called Limitless this morning was on the tv. The whole point of the movie is this guy must continue taking this mind altering drug to maximize his brain capacity, when he runs out of drugs he is dumb as bricks and can't do anything. Not a very good movie in my opinion, the ending was really bad. It kind of reminded me a bit of Crank except Crank was a much better executed movie with better and more interesting plot.

Just watched The Condemned 2 last night. I was pleasantly surprised the see Randy Orton did an awesome job playing the good guy. It was weird how different The Condemned 2 was from the first one.

Yesterday I finally watched the first two J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies.
I saw Beyond when it came out years ago but never watched the first two. Yesterday I was in the mood and saw both of them and I loved them.

I never really watched Star Trek before outside of a few old episodes so it was awesome seeing some sort of an origin as well as seeing how the new movies connect to the old stories.

Can't wait for the 4th one.

I just got done watching Furious 7, I really love the movie, I'm quite a fan of a lot of action movies, especially if it involves any kind of racing and action. I'm going to watch the 8th installment of the Fast & Furious franchise.

I can't wait for the 9th Fast & Furious movie in 2020.

A few days ago I watched Everyday which is a romance movie that came out this year that stars Angourie Rice.

I really liked the movie, even though the whole plot was kind of weird, but that is to be expected in movies now a days.

I was going to see Gangster Squad again, but that didn’t work out.

I was watching The Waterboy.

For some reason, I really like the movie, it's quite Funny and Entertaining. Some of you might hate it because it being an Adam Sandler movie, but it doesn't really much matter though. I quite enjoyed it though. I first started watching the movie when my brother played the movie, and I watched along, and I liked it.

I just happened to see the reboot of Jumanji, with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Alex Black, being announced for the channel dedicated to premieres. I couldn't watch it live, but thanks to modern TV, I could watch it while having lunch as if it was a DVD available for a limited time.

I kind of liked it, though of course Alex Black's character is overly ridiculous for being a high school girl inside the body of an old and fat man, and not always does it end up being funny. Also, it's always nice to see that the character with the most beat-'em-up action in the movie is the lead female character, and since the lead male in this occasion was The Rock himself, it made it even better.

Yeah, I saw the Jumanji reboot when it was in theaters. There were some amusing bits, but I found it to be a bit trite and a snoozefest, for the most part.

The other day I finished a film that should have been crossed off my list a LONG time ago,
12 Angry Men (1957). Seriously recommend this one to any fans of crime dramas or one-setting films. This picture does both masterfully, and has a profoundly memorable all-star cast (Henry Fonda, Lee J. Cobb, Martin Balsam, Jack Klugman)!

I saw both The Spy who Dumped Me and The Darkest Minds last night and I thought both were much better than I expected. Darkest Minds was a lot more intense than what I thought it was going to be and I probably will watch the sequels if they get around to them.

Spy who Dumped me was just silly, classic Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon.

Been watching a lot of horror movies lately, obviously it's October, and Halloween is next Wednesday, but the last movie I watched was The Collector, a very SAW inspired type of movie, there are traps and all of that crazy stuff, while the person setting those traps kills people himself, unlike Jigsaw making the people kill themselves or others. Tonight I will probably watch The Thing.

The last movie that I saw was Instant Family. I saw it with a friend yesterday and I kind of liked it.

At first I was skeptical because it was a full 2 hours long and it was mainly comedy. Most of the comedies I've seen were around 90 to 100 minutes. So I thought it was going to drag on a bit. But I liked it. There were a ton of funny scenes and there were a couple of times where I got emotional.

There were a few things I didn't like though. Some of the moments and character developments/reveals made me angry and a few chunks of the movie were inaccurate. But overall it was a very good and lighthearted movie and I would probably see it again if I had the chance. This is definitely one of the Mark Wahlberg movies that I liked the most.

I just saw Tomb Raider, the reboot starring Alicia Vikander and Daniel Wu.

I honestly liked more the previous movies, they had more historic references and a bigger focus on history and discovery. This one is too focused on real world problems, like if they attempt to make our heroes more real and close to the rabble, but in the end they demonstrate to be no normal humans, even more so than their predecessors.

The last movie I watched was Anna and the Apocalypse. I saw it last night and it was so much fun.

Gonna see it again tomorrow with a friend but we're watching one that comes with a live Q&A.
