The Nintendo Gamepak is like an expansion pack for some games. In the case of The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask, it allows the enhancement of textures and graphics and it helps the game run at a proper frame rate. In some games, it is required to play. Majora's Mask is one of them.


In other games, like Command and Conquer, it is optional, only increasing the textures, effects and overall graphics of the game if you have it inserted into your controller.

Is this game pak, transfer pack, or expansion pack? They are all different. What the other poster is referring to is actually called the expansion pack, and it is necessary for playing Majora's mask. If its the game pak, which is the game's memory, I don't know why you'd be getting that error... memory works fine for me. If it's transfer pack (needed for Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2)it simply doesn't work. It has never really worked for emulated N64. Vizzed cannot change that.

Can you post the links for the games that you have this issue with? I would like to take a look at them myself. Lumian is right about the transfer pack not really working with N64 ROMs, but I would still like to check it out.
