Family Guy has been a very good TV show too.  The only thing that just kills me about it is that they make way too many flashbacks in the TV show.  On American Dad, they don't have a lot of flashbacks like Family Guy.

Family Guy is much better!  They have more jokes that tie into things actually going on in the real world which makes it a lot funnier.  They have had tons of spoof celebrity appearances over the years that are hilarious.  I do watch American Dad though, it just took awhile to grow on me.
