drag00n365 : The first woman that I ever loved had a nose in the larger spectrum. Let me tell you, this woman flipped my meaning of beauty upside down and inside out. I loved everything about her. If you ever read the manga Sundome, the way that the main protagonist felt about the girl he loved, was how I felt about her. After her, I was almost a completely different person. She really helped open my eyes. It's too bad I was a such a jerk to her. I want to talk to her again, but she probably hates me and/or finds me creepy. It may be for the best. Oh sorry, I went off on a tangent.

To add to my previous posts, my feelings tend to either go into one person fully or not at all. There's very little in between. The interests in particular are very different from one another so it's hard to answer what gets me going. That being said, I love afros. I also love when they are of multi-ethnic backgrounds and they got a little piece of each culture. I remember from biology how we are often attracted to others who are very different from us because one of the least desirable outcomes of reproduction is mating with someone who's very similar (genetically) to yourself. It's for that reason why we don't fall for our family members (depending on the culture, though, this could be not so). Also, someone who talks to me without being obligated and is interested in me as a person, a lot of times, that's all it took for me to love them (platonically and/or romantically).

Well the thing behind attraction is that it can take many forms and fashions.  In modern most people say that the concept of attraction comes from one being physically infatuated with ones body.  Of course history as proved this theory to be entirely wrong.  If there's one thing history those is repeat itself time and time again.  Quite redundant isn't it.  Naturally through no fault of your own we as cultural societies rank our attractions on economic status and class.  Now many can argue with that theory, but take a look at your mate.  Are they educated?  Can support themselves economically?  Well this answer 97% of the time is yes.  Now what if they're easy?  Well that one my slide, but most people decline because of fear of what their social status may become.  Do bodies count?  Of course they do, but smart and beautiful are always take first then smart, then beautiful, and last you feel where going.  If must say my personal preference in a mate, generally the opposite sex, I would have to say personality then the package it comes in, but none the less more than likely it's going to boil down to these questions.  What can I gain from this relationship?  Is my partner educated?  Can my partner support his/her economical needs? Rather than is she gorgeous or does she have a pretty face.  Well usually I like to call that, and pardon my language,  whoring.  Which to me is the degradation of one's self and the inviting them upon themselves.     

So if I must say .  I prefer personality before beauty.

Well I agree in part with you because part of your answer is your opinion such as you focus much on Economic independency and Education of your partner---(but sometimes when you really fall in love you no longer judge these things....)

You know contemplating beauty can also be positive it need not really be negative.....You know everyone would like their partners to be likely...."LOOKING GOOD,STYLISH,NICE PERSONALITY TRAITS,NICE..."

seanne : Quite so my friend.  When one truly falls in love, and not using his/her partner as an object to get what they want, we don't care, but the general point I was trying to say other economic status is when do  we have the opportunity to meet someone outside your class that take a liking to. Do get me wrong it's highly possible but usually not likely.
