I'm not GOD or anything, but cats/dogs going to hell sounds ridiculous.

Animals are not sinners and can't be held responsible for their actions, so if Heaven and Hell does exist (and I think it does) they'll be excused of GODS judgement and be sent to the Kingdom of Heaven.

I think cats and dogs would go to heaven.

If they didn't, then the religion is stupid. Cats and dogs put up with bad owners, poor living situations, and all (some don't for the record), so if they can't get the same end as a human, it's not fair.

There is a thread about whether pets go to heaven or not. I don't think there is anyone who thinks that animals would be going to hell. The disagreement is whether animals have souls which leads to the question whether animals would go to heaven.

Personally, I don't think animals have souls and that they don't have an afterlife. I believe that there will be animals in heaven, but not the ones that were on earth, like your pets.

I was always told that dogs and cats have a special animal heaven they get to go to.

No, but seriously, if god is real and he did create life, then that means all animals are god's creation. Animals are not commanded to do anything. Animals are perfectly innocent and still in god's presence (unlike humans who sin and become further away from god), they are perfect in his eyes. This is not necessarily what I believe personally, but it only makes sense to believe that animals would go to heaven if you are a Christian.
