| - Who or what zone do you want to see in Sonic Generations? |

With the newest Sonic game(Sonic Generations) coming out in November of this year, people are looking forward to what zones will be revamped. But SEGA said they will put other characters in it(non-playable). So my question is who or what zone do you want to see return in Generations? Me? I want to see Mighty, Ray, and at least Metal Sonic(it would be even nicer to see Silver Sonic and Mecha Sonic as well because they all deserve a revamp). I'm hoping they put in Spring Yard Zone, Casino Night, Carnival Night, and an underwater level like Labyrinth or Aquatic Ruin. Classic goes underwater while Modern runs atop the water.

I've been thinking about this too (even though I don't have any of the systems this is going to be on...)
But anyway, I agree that they have to have one of those casino stages. I think Casino Night's pretty good. As for water levels, I'd rather have Hydrocity Zone than the ones you said, since Sonic actually does run on water in the original and Labyrinth really bugged me so much >.< They also need to have ending levels like Scrap Brain, Metropolis/Flying Fortress, and Death Egg (Sonic 2 or Sonic and Knuckles). Some other random picks for me would be Flying Battery (Sonic and Knuckles), Sky Fleet (Sonic Heroes, even though I guess Sonic would just go solo), Chemical Plant, Radical Highway (SA2, I guess but with Sonic instead of Shadow), Final Chase/Rush (SA2), Sky Sanctuary (Sonic and Knuckles), and Ice Cap (Sonic 3). |

Labyrinth bugged me too, but I couldn't think of Hydrocity ^.^. I only said those 2 because Sonic went underwater in them and they haven't had an underwater level in a 3D Sonic game yet. That would also be the perfect air bubble revamp, as well as the "Jaws" like music. I agree with Scrap Brain, Metropolis(even though they revamped that in Sonic 4), Chemical Plant, and Death Egg, just ANYTHING but Flying Fortress. I died a billion times(thank goodness for save states). Well, Ice Cap would be a good one too. Either that or the ice level from Sonic Advance or Sonic Advance 2. PS-Sonic Generations will be on the PS3, XBOX 360, 3DS, and Steam.

supersonic1998 : Yeah I'd agree, there aren't really any true water levels except for those Knuckles/Rouge levels in SA2 where they did have water bubbles and the "jaws music." But I'd understand why, since it's kind of hard to pull off when you want to be wicked fast and all that. The reason the Knuckles levels had them was because they were slower paced so you could swim and get water bubbles.
So, either they'd make it like those water levels but you really wouldn't need air bubbles because you'd fly through them so fast, or they'd slow you down underwater how you're supposed to. But that'd be kind of a drag to play as Modern Sonic. Flying Fortress was really memorable to me actually haha. I'd say I hated Metropolis more than Flying Fortress (and died more too). |

mdynasty926 : I meant classic goes underwater and Modern runs on it(similar to Unleashed and Colors on the Wii). It would be too difficult to go underwater as modern Sonic, I agree there, but that's what classic Sonic "did back in the day."
The running on water begun in Hydrocity(Sonic 3) and then became more popular in the Modern Sonic's games(which I hate actually). I find it to be more of a drag to run atop the water than to go under it. Dragon Road & Cool Edge from Sonic Unleashed really bugged me when I had to run across the water trying to jump over the obstacles and if you hit them, you sink and die. I had to try them over and over repeatedly. It sickened me. And that was the purpose of Labyrinth. It was meant for you to stop speeding for a second and slow down. At first I hated it. But then, I missed it when there was no underwater level in Unleashed or any other newer Sonic game. Well, honestly, I don't particularly care for either Metropolis or Flying Fortress. I died a lot in both of them ha ha ^u^. The most memorable zone from Sonic 2 for me was Chemical Plant. Spring Yard and Green Hill are tied in Sonic 1. I will never forget their catchy music(A because its stuck in my head and B because I have it on my MP3 player ^u^). |
